I decided to remove CGY760R and have it checked or replaced, I really like the programing simplicity on this unit.

6-7 week window. The U.S. sold product will have a revised manual and of course come with full warranty support by Futaba USA. I know you guys are very weary of waiting, but I double damn promise you it will be well worth it.

I'm sure it will be well worth the wait. I haven't been on RR or any heli forum in a long time and lost track of what's new or going on. I can wait. No big deal.

How will the warranty be handled purchase made direct from Japan? Will it be honored or treated as grey market?

Also any tentative date for programming thru the radio and bail feature ?

Warranty support applies only to products purchased in the US from authorized US dealers.

At least for now, servos purchased outside the US can be serviced for a fee. Receivers, transmitters, and 760R's cannot be serviced due to FCC certification and related parts differences (TeleCe).

Would it be possible to implement a "hard deck" bailout feature in the 760?
I envision flying up and flipping a switch at the altitude you want bailout to take over. Then you go above that and try your new maneuver. If the 760 ever senses the helicopter going down to that altitude it would trigger the bailout. When you are ready to take over you flip the switch off and decided where and if you want to turn the hard deck back on.
This would obviously require the barometric telemetry sensor. If the 760 doesn't have the capability to read and evaluate sensor data maybe it could be incorporated in the TX software. If things like battery voltage can trigger an alarm could going below a set baro reading trigger a toggle switch, set to turn bailout on/off, to toggle to on?

It’s interesting you should mention that. Futaba has released a new, improved SBS-02G telemetry sensor. I wonder.........

The bus was plenty stout enough for Nick's nitro running 4 BLS275's and a BLS276 in his nitro Diabolo being thrashed to death in flight for 8+ minutes.
