Direct transmitter integration software is still in development. I can try to find out some kind of timeline.
Can you find out about the bail out feature timeline? Thanks

Just got an email saying my recent order with RC Japan has shipped - the order contained a CGY760R so I assume they have some units in stock.

I don't quite understand how to link up 2 switches with 4 conditions. In the manual it says to use switch with AFR set up in different % to switch between conditions.

I want to use one switch for normal, idle up1 and idle up2. Another switch for hold(autorotation). Hence I need 4 conditions, 3 in 1 switch and 1 assigned to another switch.

Just don't quite understand how.

BTW, I got my 760R with me now.

Keep in simple. Just toggle that condition switching AFR with your flight condition switch. Pick an AUX channel for condition switching. SEP its programming. Set it for a straight line as per the manual with whatever percentage correlates the which gyro condition you want active in a given flight condition. It can be different for each of 5 flight conditions or you can have it toggle as few as one gyro condition across all of your idle ups.

Does that make sense?

Thanks Doctor. I will try it tonight.

In CGY750, I assigned the idle up switch to DG1 and DG2 so I can switch between 2 conditions.

In CGY760, how to relate the AUX channel with DG1 & 2?

Thanks again,

I didn't use the virtual channel. Just use an extra aux channel and set its SEP (versus grouped) afr as needed to toggle whichever gyro condition you want for a given flight condition.

Better?

Thanks again, Doctor.

Followed what you said and it works as needed. The remote set up via Tx is done too.

I saw it somewhere the firmware is equivalent to CGY750 ver.2.0 so is it recommended to set it up in 3D mode even though I fly it for F3C?

The Japanese manual spent more pages describing setting up in F3C mode.

It is Nick's vehement opinion that the system flies extremely well for F3C in 3D mode. I am familiar enough as well about how a model should perform for contest set up to fully agree with him.

Maybe I haven’t thought about it enough but I can’t see a way to have any spare Rx channels with this unit, to run a switchglow (or any thing else for that matter). Any ideas?

Use a Push Glow via a Y harness as it only requires a power source.

It was an example really, just trying to work out if there are any ways of getting a spare Rx channel with this unit. ELE2 port possibly?

ELE2 is gyro servo output only.
For scale models or applications where extra channels are needed, the CGY750 is the better choice. It has not been discontinued.

Thanks for clarifying that Ben, pretty much what I thought the answer would be. Would have been nifty if the ELE2 port was configurable but not a deal breaker, at least not for me. I have a 760 on the way and looking forward to setting it up in my latest build.

I got mine today too. One interesting thing is the warning sticker about SB2.

"Pleasae do NOT connect the signal line to S.B2 if the power is supplied by through S.B2"

Not sure what this excalty means. Does this mean you can't power any SBUS2 servers directly from the unit ?

Just did some hovering yesterday. Basically it went as it did with my 750. However, the sbus2 seems does not work with my Telme Futaba. It does not show anything on my TX.

The equipment basically same just took out the 7008 receiver and CGY750.

Tried registered the sensor again but still no reading.

Anything I missed or overlooked?
