Is anyone holding one of these yet (Ben )? Any idea of its size?

I'm considering buying a new 760 but I'd need something to put it in. Of course I could always pull out an installed older FBL unit but I'm pretty happy with the ones I've got.

The other option is to build a new heli. I'm considering a Synergy 516. I like my 450s for the golf course I live on but I'd like a slightly bigger ship. The thought got me wondering how big the 760 was. How does it compare to say the control box of a 750? Would it fit in a 450 if I choose to go that route?

Samples are not being flown yet by anyone but Nick. The one in the picture is one of his test samples I snapped for size reference. It'll easily go in a 450.

Thanks guys. Seems really small. Even smaller when you consider we don't have to also install a separate receiver. Most helicopters should have enough room.

I 3d print the a mock version of a 760 and will fit in trex 250 size. Only issue I found was the placement of the antennas. They are right above the connectors. Also any new when It will be available for pre-order in US. I did purchases one unit with programmer from over seas. Ans you get hit by exchange fees. Around 6%

I have not read if this has been addressed. Does it have a powerbus, how does the unit handle the demands of 4 high demand high voltage servos. In the case of nitro 5 servos. All of this going thru a tiny power wire from a lipo.

GOT FBL?

That is the odd thing. There is no dedicated power connector. If you use every servo output and an RPM sensor I don't even see a place to connect any power. I guess they expect that most people don't use two elevator servos AND a s.bus input so you would connect power to one of those. A dedicated power input that could connect to something thicker than servo wire would have been nice. If you don't use two of the, ele2, throttle servo, or s.bus inputs you can use two servo wires for power but if you use all three you won't have a spo t for any power input.

You should be able to use a hub to add power in more demanding application.

Will this include new firmware for the 18SZ and 16SZ to handle the programming?

You should not have to add something like a scott grey reactor to something this expensive. If beast can have a high current option futaba should too. They must have tested it but it seems a bad idea to power four digital, let alone HV, servos through one 22 gauge wire.

The program box will be used for programming initially. Transmitter firmware upsate for direct interface will follow post-initial gyro release.

Power can be fed directly to the gyro via the SBus2 port and/or via y connector into any other slots besides the rev sens slot.

Sorry should have been more clear. I was talking about using sbus hub for more power. Not saying you have to use it but all depends on what your are going to do with it.

Find out, please, if it does not make it very difficult for you.

That is, at the current time, 16SZ and 18SZ will work with CGY760R on the Ver. 3.3, without any additional updates? Thanks.
