Once you add the price of an RX and what other manufactures add to have bailout the price is not too far out for a new piece of hardware. I already have RXs for all of my machines and don't value bailout too high and for that the 750 is still there. I think when all the features are added up the price will be in line with others.

So it costs twice as much with rescue that isn’t out yet. For the extra cost over the product that your bashing you could buy a few aluminum cases. As a rep for Futaba you should highlight your product and not bash someone else’s.

That’s not a bash. How so? A refference to a case presumably? Nahhhhh. Best believe that there are other devices with deactivated functions or full functionality built in that’s limited. As the algorithms are worked out the end users are notified that updates are available. If one device comes standard with hardware that another requires an upgrade for then that’s just it. I’ve seen quite a bit of “Bashing” of this product right here. “It better have this”, “It costs too much”, “Why has it taken sooo long”, “They’re sooooo far behind”, etc etc etc. It was simply referenced that this device doesn’t require a particular component upgrade. At the end of the day each and every one of us chooses to use what we want to use. Soooooo fly what yuh like n just chill out. You can’t please all of the people all of the time.

Indeed. I stated the gyro comes with a machined aluminum case and that no upgrade case was required. It's an important detail because people are claiming what something does or does not cost even as they may be flying a product that they purchased and then turned right around and paid close to $40 for an ali case. That's called stating a FACT. Do a little research on my posting history on these forums before you make presumptuous and unsupported claims. Hell, by all means hit the "attn RR" button and ask Mark if I was product bashing. I never bash products. I don't have that time to waste and such habits do nothing to support and promote a product, either.

Steady. Go slow here. There are few people more respected as fair product representatives as Ben. I'm sorry but I don't see any bashing.

I'm not a rep and my last build included an iKON2 HD/BT paired with a Futaba R7008SB receiver. The iKON was $250 and the RX was $140 bringing the pair to just under $400 USD. I'm very happy with the iKON but a FBL from Futaba is certainly worth consideration even if it comes at a premium price.

So there is no misunderstanding, I think your comment is out of line. I personally have no stake in what controller you buy. If you don't like Futaba, so be it. Just don't take it out on one of the most patient, knowledgeable and helpful people in this hobby.

I’d really like to see a draft of the manual for planning purposes. I know there will be minimal or no issues since I replaced my 14SG with a 16SZ last year.

Are the hardware gyro sensors the same as in the 750 or was there some way to improve them? Other than bail out capability have the gyros changed?

The sensors are new and faster. Accelerometers have been added as well. The gyro is not a 750 in a new case with a receiver stuck to it.

Any information on power connection or power handling capabilities? Some of my helicopters have non-Futaba servos and pull a lot of current. Depending on how I fly that can be as much as 750mA per 8 minute flight. That is approaching a steady 6 amps and I'm sure peaks are far above that. Is there any provision for a battery connection beyond the typical 22ish gauge servo wire?

Dr. Ben,

Is there a port in the CGY760P for connecting the slave power cable from the controller? Or will the voltage be supplied by one cable?

How to apply voltage to a nitro helicopter?

Igor.

To my knowledge power is supplied only via the bus, which historically is rated for 10 amps continuous. Based on what I see, power to the unit will come either from a BEC/ESC into the throttle slot, via a Y harness into the same if using a separate battery, into the ELE2, or both if you prefer.

The manual draft copy is just a melding of stuff from 750 manual with Jenglish for the 760 at this point. No where near ready for publishing. I'll dig into it as best I can and answer questions in like manner as you pose them.

Very nice. I suppose there is zero chance it would come with an English manual? I think Dr.Ben does a lot of work on the US version and I don't believe he has seen one yet.

Hey Dr Ben will this be doing tandem rotors for scale .
Or that will be left to the demon

Be nice if it can be done by PC set-up as well or Android..
I would imagine the software updates will be done by PC ?

Just my thoughts

Just went back as reading some about it.
Says it will work only with FASSTest So do that mean all the Fasst guys are left out
I still use a 12 Z. and
Still have very powerful programming.

Is this a ploy to sale more radios

Lets do the time warp againnn !
