Does appear to be so. Among other possible reasons, the massive torque of the new H series servos is not something you would ever want to put in a full bind. Current draw in a stall condition would be withering.

It's funny you mention that. I've recently been installing servos that are approaching 600 in*oz of torque. In addition to the current draw, I've had to rethink how I set up a new model. At these torque values it is not unreasonable to expect something to fail before the servo stalls.

For instance, while some would consider it a waste, I often install the same servo I use on cyclic on the throttle. 600 in*oz of torque is almost certainly going damage some part of the carburetor before stalling.

With almost 1,800 in*oz of torque going to the swash, something is going to move. I'd prefer it be the swash itself but I have no doubt links will pop before the servos stop moving.

Did the Kontronik update, firmware updated on my CGY760 and the programming box.

The Kontronik telemetry is working fine now so as the gyro and the box. On the servo programming function, is the servo necessary to be one of the new H series? I tried the current BLS servo it doesn't seem to work.

My understanding on the servo programming feature of the box is to define individual servo parameters. Let's say I defined a H series servo at CH1, working at 760uS and then, should I tell the 760R that CH1 servo is in narrow band?

I don't see anywhere in 760 menu to update this.
