Gasser Demonstration At OHB
Here are some pics of two companies showing how the gas helis can perform with power and agility, nitro guys better watch out as the gassers are gaining fast. Pilots were Pete Cambell flying the Whiplash Gasser powered by TRM Motor 29cc and Garett Oku, I think I spelled that right, flying the Radikal 30V2 powered by the HWC 29cc.

Dx7 With Ion Power Supply. Why use anything else.

Put a 29cc Nitro in those helis and see what they can do.

That would be a 180 Nitro.

Yes
Put a 29cc Nitro in those helis and see what they can do.
And then screw on a 1/2 gallon jug (conveniently located at Graves RC) for a 15 minute flight

Next major introduction to the hobby would be a whole new class of fueling pumps for the flight box eh? LOL

good luck on that ..i would think a 1 cylinder at 29cc on nitro would be a vibration nite mare. I would think they would have made it by now if possible....fill us in.
Setup is everything, All my heli's can fly far better than I can pilot them

Nothing to fill in...I was just supposing.

But, come to think of it, now I'm starting to wonder if one of those gas engines could be converted to run Nitro fuel. One could hardly use the power except you might have a speed winner on your hands. Ya got me thinking.

Vibration wouldn't scare me but one might consider some structural reinforcement.

Tim "High Needle" Jones and the Whiplash G, TRM, Quickdraw Pipe
Im glad to see someone got Tim's flight on video. He really enjoys flying the Whiplash with the TRMVX270TT and the ShankTech Performance RC Exhaust Quickdraw pipe....
No shortage of power on the Whiplash and Tim uses every bit of it ALL THE TIME...

Tim is sponsored by A Main Hobbies in CA and is one of the worlds foremost hard 3D pilots. Tim and I are good friends and he has provided lots of valuable insight into high performance gas engine tuning for me.

I guess it says something when he says how much he likes flying a gasser...

"This ain't your Daddy's Gasser"........

Thanks again for posting the video...

Do you have any additional video of Tim flying the Whip you can post? I have trouble watching most flying videos all the way til the end, these are extra entertaining!

On my YouTube site
I have some on my YouTube site you can see... Not sure how many. I never seem to take time to film them myself... (google Tim Jones and Whiplash Gasser on YouTube)

Tim is planning to come to FtWorth for our big April fun fly event and I hope to get lots of video of both Tim and Mitch flying the Whiplash. I should have some nice performance enhancements perfected on it by then... It's going to be a fun spring for the Gassers...
