So I am in the middle of building my new 600SE. I noticed the main blade grips are plastic. I hate plastic on spinning parts. I love the XXtreme rotor head but its to big for the 600. So I have started to build my own that is similar to the XXtreme but sized for the 600.

This is one completed Blade grip less control arm. After I finish the grips, I am only going to build a new hub for the head that will match the contours of the grips.

I just love having a job that allows me to use such fine equipment to build my personal stuff.

Later,
T.J.

Update on my rotor head. Not quite finished but I couldn't resist to fit it on the heli just to see how it looks.

Finally got my first flights on my 600 today. Wow, what a smooth, powerful and stable machine. I am glad I got this bird flying instead of selling it off. What a great first electric and Flybarless heli. I'm sold on both now.

Sorry, I haven't had a chance to upload any pics until now. Here is the completed rotor head and it flies exceptionally smooth.
