Remember Laci Peterson and Scott Peterson crime in Modesto, CA? The real evidence was never revealed in court and authorities had the right person that committed the murder of Laci. The onstar nav on Scott's vehicle reported his location via satellite. GM and the Gov't made a deal not to reveal this stuff in court in fear of customer reprisals.

Black box will report your GPS, speed, driving habits, sensors G, before and after accident. This is all obtained by authorities anytime....also a kill switch to turn your vehicle off if necessary.

Wake up people LOL!

This single issue is the reason I refuse to buy new vehicles now days.

Anyone that says they will have privacy issues, I will call your BS. They have the same policies in Obamacare geared towards veterans on privacy policy that the President and head of state requires your health records to protect them at all times.

You people have absolutely no clue what is going on these days!

KEEEEEP thinking that chapo. I have some DIRECT info that says this is exactly true. In the 60's, do you think people could have imagine how our rights are being trampled on now?? It's progressive. 10 years from now, we'll wish we had it as easy as we did in 2012. Rectal probes....coming your way.
When I say direct, I mean DIRECT. I just can't talk about it....and my source can't either. I'm safe in the knowledge that I know I'm right. Go 'bout ur bidness.

You guys going to say that?

Let me say this in a nice way without insulting you. I am factory trained tech, two years of my life 100% focused 10 hours, 5 days per week on automotive technology. Factory trained electronic automotive computer technician/diagnostic.

Trust me you are being tracked once you buy these newer cars.

Call it a conspiracy if you want. You folks are supposed to be the, "Smart" Liberals. Might want to finish up that high school diploma!

Here you go dummies that follow the blind!

Watch at YouTube

The black box also has a data recorder of every sensor information the vehicle reports to the black box. This is not a conspiracy and you are being tracked 100% with out your consent!

Even if you cancel your membership, you are still being tracked. Foreign made cars are under this mandatory too.

I would NOT on most given days side with Inverted.... but he is correct... being a car guy myself there is a way for someone to plug in a computer to your car and see your driving habits... Progressive Insurance is using a device called snap shot and I THINK that is what they are basing some of the policies on

I don't think your crazy Invert your right and onstar I believe can stop your car..

I do not agree with criminals but sheesh.....
OnStar to Stop Cars Remotely.

Starting with about 20 models for 2009, the service will be able to slowly halt a car that is reported stolen, and the radio may even speak up and tell the thief to pull over because police are watching. Then, if officers see the car in motion and judge it can be stopped safely, they can tell OnStar operators, who will send the car a signal via cell phone to slow it to a halt. "This technology will basically remove the control of the horsepower from the thief,"

[OnStar’s Chet] Huber said. "Everything else in the vehicle works. The steering works. The brakes work." GM is still exploring the possibility of having the car give a recorded verbal warning before it stops moving. A voice would tell the driver through the radio speakers that police will stop the car, Huber said, and the car's emergency flashers would go on. <Source>

I heard the government is going to mandate you placing a chip in your daughters body so that they can contact her when she needs the morning after pill. They want to make sure she gets her free sh#t.

T heir's data logger's in all car's of one level or another.

Any thing from tampering with Diesel's and Turbo's - Smog, Chip enhancement. To the speed's - timing of shift's, braking - transmission data on and on. Can be tied right into diagnostics and warranty issues. List of code's and relating data tree's are endless.
Right down to the smog control's. Heck even mine can diagnosis tire pressure's.

Really get's wild with the data interchange transmission with service's like On Star ect. Just dial it right up and the data can spew right out.

It's even gone to the point now with heavy equipment or field rental equipment. They can tell when the wood chipper or trencher, hydraulics was turned on / off or Tac time and it's location.

It's got Hugh benefit's on PM work like oil changes ect.

The guy's that really love it are the Commercial truckers !

If theirs a accident : The Data logger doe's not Lie ----
