When somebody on RR isn't able to send you pictures
be careful.
I have just had a surprise on a trade, and took the other
party's word, that the heli I was trading for was in "really decent condition". shame on me for going ahead and doing that.

Cameras are cheap enough, that almost anybody can afford a camera, and
if they are posting on RR, then they have a computer.
So be careful, I guess I let my guard down

I only accept the "I can't get pictures" if it's represented as New In Box. Then, depending on feedback I will take a chance and ALWAYS pay via Paypal and NEVER as a "gift" via Paypal.

Never deal without pics and contact information, even ore so when it comes to a trade!
There is this fantasic break through in technology called a cell phone.. these hand held devices have CAMERAS built right into them! I know right! WOW!
And get this... you can take a photo of your item, and send that to the other person via TEXT message! I KNOW RIGHT? man where do they come up with these ideas!
Conttact info and common sense will always keep you happy.

I don't even look at an ad if it doesn't have any pictures. If someone can't even muster up the energy to take and post pictures of their item there are others usually selling similar items that do. There are always exceptions to the rule....

Have you spoken to the person you traded with to see if he will make it right or return the heli and you return his???
Have you left Negative feedback or feedback stating the item you received was not in "really decent condition" ???

It's also good to ensure the pictures are recent and that the pictures were taken of the actual item being sold.

I inquired about an item on Craigslist a short time ago and the seller informed me the pictures of the item were taken three years ago. Also, lots of people are using other peoples pictures versus taking their own. Nowadays I always ask about the photos.

IMHO if someone can't provide photos they're not serious about selling a quality item.

Very true statement! If a person can afford a heli, they can definitely afford a camera.

Once, I spotted the same picture of an SGP reactor used by three different people in classifieds. I called them out.

Traded a 90 that was in nice shape for a beat 30.The canopy is badly painted the muffler is burned into the frame, the carb screw is stripped so the carb is held on with tie wrap, and removed the muffler which had to be pried off the frame and that's when I saw where it melted on the frame, the canopy was packed with insulation and is stuck to the inside of the canopy. There is so much wrong and the condition so poor that it is basically a parts heli. The radio looks ok, but it too looks well used and has been chipped in a couple of places.
What I traded, is in my new uploads section of my gallery. The guy I traded with after I sent a pm that i'm not happy with the 30. I can send a frame and a stock pipe.

Continued: Cost me $75 to ship. The 30's the shipping box was open on arrival, due to the one piece of shipping tape holding the box closed, tore. I sent my heli packed really well, and insured it with delivery confirmation. The other party, did include delivery confirmation.

Yeah, you def got bent over! The dude needs to man up and trade you back.

Even when you see pics, you cant see all the flaws until the items are in your hands.

The last trade I did was for a very nice Evo50 with a ton of parts for a Trex450 with a few batteries, charger and balancer. The 450 was a pile of $#it. Cracks in the frame, broken and mismatched parts, machine screws replaced with those small wood screws that come with most Futaba radios. more than half of the batteries were puffed. He did make good on some of the broken parts. I got screwed twice on that deal. Screwed in the trade and then screwed by my buddy that I got the heli for. He wanted a heli but wanted a 450 electric so I traded the EVO and sold him the 450. He still owes me money for it claims we are square. With all these losers out there, its becoming more clear why people just dump their stuff cheap, take whatever money they can get and just go buy another new machine. Less BS!

That would make it a Gohbee Stinger.
Jing Shi is still around. They now call themselves JS Models, makers of the Frenzy helicopters.

It's not even a Rappy, the pain continues.
I'm more disappointed that you can
talk to someone on the phone and
they sound straight, and then do you like that.

Update edit: So far Rockin Bird has not answered the pm I sent last night.

I sent a pm to him to tell him I
want the 90 back and I'll send him his stuff
back. If he won't then negative feedback will be posted.

Post the negative feedback anyway. The injustice has already been done and you might save others from getting screwed.
