Hi,

I just wanted to let folks know and maybe someone canhelp. I have always had good customer service from Paul at Century. In the last three weeks I have sent three emails/contact forms through Century's site inquiring about the possibility of ordering a couple of frame spacers for my Predator. The full set is $35 and I only need two. All three inquiries in the last three weeks have gone unanswered.

I emailed Paul with the last known email address I had for him and tried to PM him through this site. It's been about a week and I'm not really sure if he is still there. Billm offered good advice when I asked him about it mentioning that I could get thick wall aluminum tubing and cut my own spacers. I also found some aluminum spacers online that 'may' work if I can find the right dimensions.

I just found it very frustrating to get absolutely no response from Century in my three attempts over a three week period. As I said I always had great customer service from Paul and he was always helpful and went above and beyond. Maybe someone who can help will read this.

Thanks for reading.

First off try picking up a phone and calling them.

2nd Century/Heli-world has had a 18% off deal going for everything instock. This sale slammed them hard and they are working hard to fill all the orders. I know this because I ordered a muffler that took 3 days to ship and I CALLED them to ask why.

as for Paul, I called a couple weeks ago and Paul was out of the country on vacation, as for your Emails, you need to know a on-line store like this gets hundreds of Emails daily, surely they can't answer them all

I would call Century and give them the benefit of the doubt. If there is still a problem then report back here. I always call Miniature Aircraft and there is always someone there to help. There is a recent post here on a 1990's Min Air 1005 owner wanting a long Boom to run 800mm Blades!!!!! He got the info very quickly even though the 1005 wasn't designed initially to run anything close to that kind of blade.
Actually shouldn't this topic be in the Century forum as this is a problem with a Century consumer?? I would think it could be semi private in the Century forum and not in the GASSER forum for all to see.
I deleted a previous post as I said basically the same thing before concerning the Century in the gasser forum.
My opinion only

Setup is everything, All my heli's can fly far better than I can pilot them

I did a big order ( 19 pcs + 4 pcs mainly washers/screws/bearings ) for cyber Monday and on Thursday realize I need some extra micro washers, so called them up to see if my order had shipped and if not, I can add stuff to it.
They answered the call quickly and informed me that due to a big amount of sales, it had not shipped yet. That was great because I just added 4 extra items and no shipping charges.

So, ya they have been busy this pass weeks on getting ready for the two week sale they had.... Give them a call.

They have actually pick up the phone more lately then on any regular business day I've called in the pass... LOL

Edit:
I've also PMed you on those spacers... You must Not Need them that bad as you read my PM a while ago and yet No Reply.... Guess you've been realy busy too...ahaha

No need for the sarcasm about picking up the phone. I wasn't Century bashing. I didn't realize they had a two week sale going on and I thought three weeks would have been enough time to answer a simple question which was submitted on their site using their form. I wasn't placing an order, just asking a question. I thought they would have the support to answer questions posted on their site.

I also mentioned that I had always had top notch customer service from Paul, couldn't have asked for better. I was just inquiring if he was still there.

I probably should have posted in the Century forum but it just seems there isn't always a lot of traffic over there so I thought it would be seen sooner here.

I'll edit the subject and content if I can. I really wasn't bashing Century I was just frustrated trying to get an answer to a simple question, that's all.

Thank you to RODNEY and frgy28. They PM'd me mentioning they might have spare spacers.

Hello Tom,

I was notified of this topic.

I've been away on vacation and got back less than a week ago. Been trying to catch up from being gone for such a long time. We did have staff answer most of the simple inquiries but the ones they left unanswered needed my attention. Please check your PM.
