I'm coming in!
New X50F owner.
My first heli was a old, used, beat up Raptor & that's been a few years back. Ive been building / flying other models since. When I was at Bham earlier this year, I got to check the X50 really close thanks to Gary Wright & Nick Maxwell. I like the new design far better than the trusty old work horse! I look forward to flying it. Looks like a pretty nice airframe. At any rate. I'll pop in from time to time to catch up on the latest gossip

keiser BLADE,
Sorry it took me so long to reply to ya.
Actually, Ive been pretty busy & havent checked back in this section lately. This heli goes together nicely! It flys just fantastic. Mind you, Im no Nick Maxwell but this heli seems solid & is capable of doing far more than my skills will allow. This is not my first Thunder Tiger. I had the old trusty plastic model of yesteryear. Since then I've ventured off to other models like JR, Miniature Aircraft & Velocity's. When Thunder Tiger introduced us to the X50 with the total re-designed airframe, it caught my attention. After getting to see one up close at Birmingham, I new that I wanted one! I'm not sorry I did. I'm really liking it & I'd do it again.

payne1967... Agreed. However, with Nick Maxwell on board, That was a brilliant move for Thunder Tiger! He happens to be one of my favorite pilot's right along with Thunder Tiger's Gary Wright. That guy is like "butter" Smooth as silk & I love to watch him fly a helicopter! Super nice guy by the way... I'd like for Align to realize that there's other fine helicopters in this world. Thunder Tiger happens to be one of them. For the record. I have nothing to gain by speaking highly of Thunder Tiger! They don't know me & I don't know them. I just like there models.

10/4 aerosmith im am a huge tt fan as well
these old gen raptors are not bad with fast servos, everyone says the x50 will smash the rex 600, id believe it. Im not really a trex fan but I do own a 450 its not bad but tt quality seems better to me

the x50 is better than the trex 600

having own a 600 for 18 months and wearing it out
i sold it as spares/repair
i purchased a hirobo sdx50 thats a great heli and a keeper
i bought a tt x50 when they first came into the uk
and its flight performance is better than the sdx50
let alone the trex 600

i too have a trex450 the sev1 for the size of model its ok

and coming from a hirobo man the tt x50 is a great flying heli

Hirobo SDX very nice heli but if you get one your gonna need an extra savings account,in the UK anyway,the best build so far would be My X50 aswell flies great,as for TT i think they took far to long bringing something really good to the market and then Align climbed the ladder big time,as for the Trex i had one years ago nitro sport the quality was terrible,i thought i would try another as they developed over the years,just had a few flights with the Trex 600 Super pro,i never thought i would never say it but its up there with X50.
