Still doesn't say exactly what it is, which is what you claimed you knew from the FB page...

Tmoore also claims it will be in kit form.

It's probably what we're all thinking anyway. A 600/700X "souped up" PRO (whatever that is) heli that may come in kit form. Big surprise there...

I'm not claiming anything, they said that in the video when James said this: "easy to build, easy to maintain".

BFD. I already pointed that out long before your so-called "revelation"... And, you did say "kit", but maybe not right here.

Have seen people say Horizon pioneered 2.4 and the BeastX FBL, wonder how long before with this one they will be saying they invented the DFC head.

Clearly, this new heli to be announced does not have a DFC head. Even that is EASILY determined from the video (washout arms).

However, by design, some other micro helis of theirs, like the mCPX and 130X, already have DFC heads because the head piece, not the mainshaft, does indeed directly drive the rotating swashplate via the dogbones.

They most certainly do not.

Yes, in fundamental design, they do. The HEAD drives the rotating swashplate.

IMO that doesnt make it DFC. DFC to me is a solid linkage that supports itself and provides a swash driver. But yes, the linkages are acting as a pseudo swash driver, but they arent supporting themselves. Henseleit uses a design like this also.

Okay, so IYO and "to you" it isn't DFC... That does not make it so for everyone else.

Rephrased: The link being the swash driver alone does not make that style of head "DFC".

So sayeth anyone who understands DCF (direct flight control) = no intermediate linkages between the inner swash ring and the main grip pitch link. Impossible to do if both are ball links btw.

Mcpx,130x,TDR, and the original Mikado fbl head all use intermediate fixed links between these instead of a more conventional swash driver, but they acconplish the same phase-stablisation result. None of these are DFC.

Anyway, way off the topic, but if you want to continue to believe that your mcpx and 130x are lean-mean DFC machines, please feel free to go ahead and do so.

Maybe go back to HH bashing. You've been doing a great job imho!

Cheers,
TomC

Exactly. The head block is not a link. Do you understand that?

Anyway, back on topic. We now know what the big announcement is. It's the Blade Pro Line of helicopters. No details, but that's where they are headed.

The headblock still supports the linkages.

DFC dont need no support.
