swift 16
Hello everybody,
I purchased an older but brandnew Swift 16.
Happy with it because here in the Netherlands , Century is not widely spreaded.

My question is : the Swift came with a Align RCM BL500mx 1600kv engine.
Is this engine any good for use in the Swift?
I've got a 6 cell 5000mah Roxxy lipo's I use in my Raptor E550 and want to use them in the Swift also.
Can this be done with the Align engine?
Hope someone has an answer.
Kind regards from Cheeseland

Right hand side of page there is a button with SWIFT 6S on it already.

Pick the pinion according to head speed you're after. I would not go lower than a 9T given 8T may strip main gear.

That 1700Kv was most likely used on 4S "maybe" 5S.

Best of luck!

Yea the KV is really high with the smaller 9T pinion we ran a 1100KV at a over 2K head speed.

If you use the calc or the one here

http://www.readyheli.com/headspeed-calculator.html

you will know for sure.

I had a ace obl 4310 set with 75 ace esc that came off my E550.It was replaced by the new E550 motor/esc combo.
This is a motor with slight problems ,but the problems don't occur in my Swift, yet. But the motorbase in the Swift is plastic and not so tough as I thought .
But I've seen that the TT pinions also fit the Century toothing #1.
So lets hope things turn out oke ,I used 10t pinion .
Maybe experiment with it cause it seems I overcome 2000rpm on rotor.
