Bent main shaft?
I think my main shaft on my trex 450 is bent, when i look at it from the top the the head looks like it is. will just a little wobble make it fly funny, or can I still fly until i get a new one? will it hurt anything if i fly it? Thanks in advance.

I don't think I would fly it. Is it FBL or FB?
If you pull the shaft out, roll it on a piece of glass or ceramic, that will show you if it is bent!

A wobble is vibration. Vibration can cause interference in electronics.
It will lead to premature wear and tear in bearings.
It can cause screws to vibrate loose, which will undoubtedly only make things worse (another crash?)

450 main shafts are two for $10, or $5 each.
Ask yourself, is it really worth it to save $5?

As Dood points out...there probably worth 5-10$....is it worth risking your heli? My rule of thumb is "if in dought...change it out" as it not worth a crash or a horrible day at the field troubleshooting.

Why eBay? There are plenty of legitimate hobby shops on the internet. Order from someone like Ready Heli tonight (they ship USPS priority mail), you'll have it by Wednesday, if not Tuesday with a little luck.  ▲

450 with a slight bend

I used to get a piece of flat hardwood and a flashlight and hammer them flat in a pinch

flashlight is used to check to see if there is a gap
