POS or good to go?
ok so what is the story with the 300x? does the main shaft snap all the time? does it actually fly reliably? i want one but the main shaft scares me away.

I have had one for several months and have had zero issues. No issues with the frame and no main shaft issues. It is actually a pretty sturdy bird in my opinion. Go for it.Fly it like your stole it!!!!!

tell me it's a POS so I don't go out and buy one. I promised myself that a nitro 50 is next.

Let us know how the maiden goes. I hope you got some CF blades for it. The updated throttle curves while using the wooden blades just doesn't cut it with this heli.Fly it like your stole it!!!!!

There have been tail servo failures (one guy in club has failed 3 of them). Probably plan on replacing it with something like a Futaba and you will be good

I did read about the tail servo failures at the time I purchased my 300X. The other 3 people at my club all bought theirs after I did. We all just went through the setup and re-did our tail servo limits to insure there was no binding and none of us have ever had any issues with the tail servos going out.Fly it like your stole it!!!!!

I have 66 flights on mine and no failures of any kind. I did upgrade to the carbon blades and the metal swashplate. In my opinion, its the best small heli I've seen on the market.

I have landed mine twice on the head from putting a discharged battery in and flying. I thought it was a fully charged battery but soon found out different. It landed inverted and not a scratch! It was the break through model I learned to fly backwards inverted. My recommendation is that everyone needs at least one!!

I'll sell ya mine if you're looking for one!! I think I want a 450 size.. I find the 300 getting small quick.

I got the 300 and a bunch of spares and battery packs I am going to sell.
