HOUSTON TX HELI JAMBOREE
We will be hosting our first annual Heli Jamobree and fun fly at Remote Control Hobbies in Houston Texas on Sunday November 25th. The event will run from 10-4 and will feature lots of flying, some contests and more flying. We will have a drawing for a Blade 130X heli at the end of the Jamboree. Each heli flight logged will earn a ticket that will be put into the drawing, so the more you fly, the better chance you have to win. We will also feature 10% off all heli platforms and 20% off heli parts for the day and will have great pricing on Cool Power and Curtis Youngblood heli fuel that day only. Sale prices good for in-store merchandise only.

The store is located at 8190 Barker Cypress, Suite 300, Cypress Texas 77433. (Northwest Houston) For more info call the store at 281-855-9154. Flying will be done in the lot next to the store. Hope to see you there!

Houston Fly In
Hello my name is Mike, and I live 17 miles north of Beaumont. My question is I have a scale helicopter. It is a scale model of a LAMA SA 315 and I was wondering if there was enough room at this field for me to fly it there? I like to fly large patterns so that is the reason for my question.

Thanks
Mike

Well I am a seasoned flyer, so flying around is no problem for me. Just like to make sure first, as the bird I intend to bring is not easily replaced should anything happen. I do realize that Mr murphy is all ways a threat, LOL

If yall are scale friendly I will try to make it with mine. My heli's are a little bigger than 600mm but I'm not scared. LOL

Hey Greg,
I heard thru the grapevine that you had the Robinson R 22 converted to electric. Looks very nice, hope you can make it out there I would love to see her fly.

Both my scale heli's are electric. The R22 has a 2160mm rotor span and the Huey has a 1810 rotor span. Al built the Huey and I converted the R22 toi electric. Both are 12s setups. Huey is 12s 5100mah and R22 is 12s 10,600mah. Both fly great.
