Here is your chance to own a piece of model helicopter history. Never before offered, a one of a kind component from the unicorn itself... the original Aurora 90 nitro!

This is a rotor pitch link off of one of the original Aurora 90 nitro machines years before they became available to purchase. Don't let the HIROBO logo fool you, that is what the original machines used.

Not only is this little gem a statement piece in the realm of r/c helicopters, but it is also a conversation piece that is timeless. If you look closely, you will see the slight bend in the control rod. This is because it isn't from just any one of the proto-type Aurora machines, no... THIS one is from 'Crash em up Caldwell's' Aurora.

I went to many events that summer and I saw him fly at four of them. He crashed at four of those events and I was hit with debris at one, almost hit with debris at two other events and by the grace of God I moved away from my flying station at IRCHA only to have his machine pile in exactly where I was standing. In a way, you could say this little control rod gave me the insight that saved my life.

It was this very control rod that hit me at a fun fly in Missouri after a crash. A few weeks later I was almost hit by a blade off of the same machine and I knew from past experience that I needed to move when this machine took off at IRCHA.

After reading that, you probably think it is priceless... and it should be, but we are going to put a price on it !

Let the bidding begin!

The heli gods have cursed you for worshipping the false god that was the Aurora 90. The only way to remove the curse is to sacrifice your token in a smelting furnace beneath a shrine to Augusto. Consumate the sacrifice with a marathon flying session on your Synergy...do that and all bad ju-ju will be removed.

Seriously Ryan, that thing seems like a bad luck charm...why would you wish it on someone else lol.

I don't see a certificate of authenticity. Show it to Rick from Pawn Stars. He's got a buddy that's an expert.

So when the bidding is over, will you ship it "soon"?

I'm in for a dollar in case bkervaski doesn't make good on his bid.

Is this the same machine that hit Mike "RC Heli Mag" Velez in the back?

You are playing with fire. Send it back to whatever island volcano you must have taken rocks from. The volcano will melt it and appease the heli gods. Throw the rocks you took as well in after it. Have a vehicle standing by to get you out of the blast radius. Do not use a helicopter, it will probably try to knock you in the volcano.

Justin, I was trying to point this out for those who try to sell 'near perfect' single blades that are "only cracked in one place".

Dood- I am pretty sure it was the same IRCHA, just different crash. This one was east about four flight stations. I guess that would make five crashes in four events.

As for Curtis' hair- that is gross. I do however have some fuel soaked rubberbands to secure your electronics, some green tape for the transmitter and duct tape for your spindle.

This is the real deal, the control rod is made out of a rare space material called unobtainium.
