Im getting my 6HV dialed in, everything using the logo 600 setting. Other than increasing the gain on the tail, everything works great.. Except, after doing flips/rolls or going to 0 degrees after a hard collective input, the head shakes a little. It looks sort of like an oscillation. It looks like the helicopter is "CRACKING" The dampeners are good, FFF is good, no issues except for this.

Before I tweak the menu parameters, I want to get insight. Im thinking maybe the gain on the head is a little too much??

Running 8917 servos on 5.6v
Kontronik 80HV with heatsink..
Torq 9188 on the tail.

Tail holds very well, no issues there..

Any comments/thoughts?

Thank you!!!

Its hard to describe some stuff on vbar, but I like the cracking term. I probably should turn mine down because it does that a bit on agressive tic tocs.

I decreased the head gain and there is less cracking after a flip so I know I am on my way to getting it better.

I had a slow wag eventhough the tail gain was 92 but after replacing the RAIL tail blades with KBDD Yellow Blades, the tail holds very well.. The 6HV seems happier with the KBDD (weird, I thought CF would be best).

Thanks everyone for your help!

Michael
