I am putting together a D3 for a friend and on 1st try, the YS seems to be almost too tall and is a tight fit against the clutch bell.

By tall I mean the stack of the fan+clutch is tall enought to cause the engine mount slided all the way down against the frame and you can barely bolt the motor onto it.

Is it ok to have the clutch coupling all up against the clutch bell?

I would think not.

When in doubt, disassemble and open the manual
Something had to be wrong. A Hirobo kit this beautiful dont have stuff fit this tight.

The clutch was upside down

please excuse to reflect on why I wasted a post
