I think everyone in the hobby would have been completely understanding if it wasn't for the constant lies and ignoring people.

If you truly care about your customers and friends all it would have taken is one HONEST post the stuff wasnt going well and there was no eta on warranties. This thread wouldn't be here if he would have just been honest.

if you guys want to defend that then go ahead. my dad always said to never judge a man on his mistakes but rather judge him on how he handles them and I hold that to be very true
Good post.

If he had time to post the lies, he had time to make it right and post the truth.
Going through a difficult time is no excuse.

Surely you guys can have some compassion for a fellow hobbyist going through personal issues. Haven't we all?
Sure I've been through some tough times but I wasn't taking your money and hiding.

He needs to communicate with everyone who has ordered from him.

Hearsay from third parties doesn't mean anything.
Taking money and not delivering means everything.

He's not only not shipping new stuff but he is keeping stuff he recalled and not replacing it with the V2 stuff.

I'm not here to beat up on anyone but all the guys defending him need to look at the facts....He's not my friend or anyone that is feeling ripped off and he's done nothing to deserve any sympathy....He hasn't even said there is anything to be sympathetic about....Just collecting money and giving nothing for it.....That is the definition of scamming and stealing.

I literally never use the word literally right.

^^^ +1
Why is it necessary to publicly kick the crap out of this guy while he is down?
The guy took money from people and lied about it. Dishonesty is the real issue. If he would have told the customer that he wasn't in a position to make the transaction, there may have been some understanding. The only person who is down in this deal is the customer who doesn't have his item after several weeks.

I'm sorry to see these events unfold. I've been using Perfect brand for a while now and have recommended it several times as I've been extremely happy. Hate to see this kind of thing go on.

I do find it troubling that a couple people in this thread say they have talked to him and then explained to us that he's having trouble. Someone else suggested he could at least respond in this thread and at least communicate. THAT even I agree with.

His "troubles" are personal and they are his "troubles"...

When he screws customers....that is the customers troubles and there's no excuse for it...Try as you might to invent an excuse and justify his actions....He is a grown man that has made a choice to screw his customers...That's right....It's his choice.

People with terrible disabilities go to work every day.
Bad choices...drugs...alcohol....sluts....Those are all things that a person just has to decide not to do...It may make you uncomfortable for a short time but it truly is a choice.

Trust me....I know!

Mark banned Matt from RR for promoting. He will not be posting in this thread.

Take it for what you will, I talked to him as he's a friend of mine. He was NOT involved in another relationship other than the one he's engaged to. They have personal issues they're trying to deal with. He has also just recently moved.

Good day to all, I will not be posting in this thread again. I've spoken my peace, found out the truth and set the record straight. You guys should be receiving your packages soon; if not I will resign from my rep status with him and his products.

Totally not getting involved in this debate, but that was about the most Ernie ever made me laugh right there.

I simply don't believe in enabling...

Personal issues have no place in business...That's a fact and not my opinion.
It has nothing to do with me thinking I'm right.
I don't have to be right to recognize wrong.

I hope he gets it together.I truly do.
However,I believe the damage is done and I didn't do it.None of the customers did anything wrong and complaining about getting screwed is the right thing to do...It's what these boards are for...Helping others in the hobby and helping prevent people from getting screwed is part of helping.

Getting something you paid for months and months after paying for it does not make this a good business transaction...It's called getting shafted.

And it remains to be seen if people will even get their purchased items at all.

I literally never use the word literally right.

Yeah, I'm out of this to. I wasn't trying to enable or make excuses. I don't even know Matt. It's an angry world out there these days and by this thread, it's not getting any better. It's a friggin hobby. OK, so a transaction looks like it's going bad. Again, the OP bought by credit card so he is completely protected. It sucks yes. It's not the end of the world. We're not solving world hunger or curing cancer here. I just wish people would not get so worked up about stuff like this and yes, I would still feel this way if it was my money involved.

A little off topic but still on point....

You guys know that Matt also sold a BNF TSA 700 heli on HF about a month ago and he still hasn't shipped it?

This is a big part of my opinion.

The buyer is threatening legal action there.

Matt did get in touch with me yesterday which was his last day before I took action, The heli has shipped and I have tracking#'s but unfortunately with USPS if you do not pay for "sig on delivery" the tracking#'s do not work so I will have to wait until the end of the week for delivery. Let's hope that all ends well for Matt and myself on this deal.

I would like to mention that although our hobby is supposed to a place to relax and have fun when money is exchanged for goods/services then that transaction is business and only business------- it has squat to do with anything else including friendship. Business is business and is judged according----money is business!!!!!!

I spent some time on the phone this morning with Matt and I must say that his life is not good right now but he is over the worst of it-----the ex (bi-polar) is gone---at least for now and Matt is trying to get back to normal with 2 kids to raise. The heli he shipped is in good condition and all is good.
