Very nice indeed...thanks. Can't believe I didn't realize that sooner. OK, so now I'm down to moving two points for each curve instead of five. Still would be nice to only move one instead of two.
Proof that you just can't make everyone happy.

Guys, at the risk of acting like a spammer...

If you are going to order a 14SG and want to have a chance of it arriving with the first shipment into the US (this is for those of you living in North America only); you will want to place your order prior to tomorrow.

A word to the wise...I just don't want a bunch of disappointed kids during the holiday season.

We don't have the final version yet. As soon as we receive it, we will post it to the manuals section of the web site.

Got my hands on one of these guys today, and had a good chance to compare it with the 18, the 8fg and my 14mz, at the Australian IMAC Championships.

Its very light like a 8fg. It has nicely spread out switches, not cramped up like the 14 for this pincher.

The face has the same clean feel of the 8fg that draws you to the sticks, no distracting bumps and lumps.

Still has the toy feel of the 8, not the solid feel of the 14 and 18 mz's

Tiny antenna. Telemtery readings are easy to see on screen. Didnt get to play with the vibration tho.

Supposed to be out mid December.

Im on the fence if i want one or not, im really liking the feel of the the 14 and 18mz's in the hand for plank flying, but maybe the T14SG might be the go for shank bones

shank bones are helis

Viberation is excellent. It has variable intensity. Even at low it is attention grabbing.

What would be really nice is if Futaba built in the ability to connect to DSM based bind-n-fly models like the Blade mCPX and 130X...

Well I am very happy to see that Futaba now has stick mode and stick calibration in the H/W menu. Now they don't have to stock those mode 1 radios. I hope this is included in all of the new radios.

I am not sure I understand this. On my 8FG and the FF9 before that I am pretty certain I could select any mode (1 to 4) I liked and move the plate as required inside the TX to remove the self centering on the throttle stick.

My 8FG has stick or pot calibration.

AFAIK the earphone jack will be enabled with a future firmware update. For right now the internal speaker is the only way to hear the alerts from the radio.AMA Leader Member
