I've about used up my existing polish. What is your favorite polish for aluminum mufflers that really does a good job on the tough stains.

(I already know about and have been using the Propylene Glycol in the crockpot for years on engines and other aluminum parts.)

Mother's works great and you can even get the power ball or mini power ball and use your drill.

Yes, we polish the muffler. From time to time it will need a cleaning from fuel stains and just oxidation from being made of aluminum. It's not difficult and it doesn't take forever.

Try Wizards Metal Polish. It's not a liquid. It looks like cotton candy. They do have a number of other products like sealers and waxes too. This stuff works amazingly. I used it for a number of things like, the frame of my motorcycle, watches, and rims of my truck. Check it out.

Nevr dull works great on stuff that is pitted or has surface rust. It also works great as a first step in polishing something you are trying to bring back the underlying luster. I have tried a bunch of different products but I really like Mothers. If you are polishing something that already has a pretty decent finish, the Mothers polish can REALLY bring out that extra shine. It works great as a finishing polish to give it a very deep looking shine.

SOS pads

especially if you have any old oil stains. If you want even a smoother shibe, hit it with BRASSO or any other polish like Simichrome

Nevr-Dull is all i'll use..
Tried many different polishes on my 73 Harley,73 Camaro,69 Camaro ton of Mustangs, quads, dirt bikes and all my heli stuff.Nevr-Dull is the best polish I ever used.I bought pipes from guys that were about to trash them because of how bad the stains were. After a good Nevr-Dull polish, they looked brand new again..I love this stuff.

Never Dull does indeed work quite well. I have used it on my Harley in the past as well. Works great. I have also used Mothers many times with great results as well.

coming from experiance with motorcycles, Never dull for heavily tarnished oxidized and pitted stuff,Masters formula is the stuff it's two parts an abrasive polish and then a wax that keeps the shine for a long time. I only polish the wheels on my bike every few years.
