Question: What should i ask for my stuff.

I have a very large amount of Logo 10 stuff and have ran an ad to sell it.
1,500.00 for everything. Priced at 40 to 50% off now.

http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1740700

Any suggestion's on where to find a buyer for this stuff would also help.

I think you would be way better off breaking up the items and selling off piece by piece.

A price of $1500 for all of it just scares off people.

Group items (all frame parts, etc) and put a realistic price on it.
Keep dropping it weekly till it sells.

I do think it will take a long time to sell off all of it.
Logo 10 just doesn't seem to have a big following.

Thanks, TheWoodCrafter

I would say your first three lines are the problem. Firm, no offers, and a high price will drive folks off fast. It may be hard to take, but it might be hard to give a Logo 10 away these days.

+1 for JKos

Firm on pricing one that high shut the door on me, even if it were a Logo 600. Not to say that there aren't equally or more expensive 600's selling out there, it's just that I have recently watched some come and go for far less.

I would start by coming off of the price restrictions and let interested people send some offers your way. You will get lowballs, just don't swing until you are satisfied. Parting out may be the way to go.

Put everything you have to offer in pictures. Too much to list is just going to get requests for whats in the box of stuff.

Watch what others are pricing and selling for. And for geeze sake, get your stinking feet out of the picture! LOL

Just messing with you. Hope you get what you want for the Logo 10.

This all make's sense.
Parting it is not an option because i will lose money on all the popular stuff and then be stuck with the rest.
Might end up keeping it.

It sucks man, I know.
There should be a notice to all who get into RC stuff in general.

"You will not make money participating in this hobby!"

As I am finding out all too well myself, you will take a beating if not by crashing, then by selling your stuff.

Try listing your stuff by lots. You have some attractive items that people can use. I think with a little homework you could find buyers for all of it. Or hell yea, fly the snot out of it!

It sucks big time. When you get to something as old as a Logo 10 and GY401, there's is simply no money to be had for them. The JR DS3421 servos you have are very nice servos for this size heli.

Hello, I agree with the recommendation of parting it out. Or at least part it out into smaller groups of items. The chances of someone wanting all the items you are offering (especially for an old model like the Logo10) is very slim. I also recommend allowing offers to come through; you don't necessarily have to accept them and you may get an offer you can live with.

Unfortunately anything left over that you can't sell at your asking price, you'll have to either give away (drop price), throw in the trash or keep it forever. IMO it costs money either way. The longer you keep it, the bigger the deal you'll have to make at a later date.

For your models to retain some resale value you have to use them quickly and then sell them while they are still fairly new/popular. If you wish to break even, then consider buying them used and selling them within a year or less used.

With that said, soon I'll be "giving away" my also obsolete Logo24 Bionic . Hope this helps and good luck with the sale.

Chachin..

I unpack some more stuff.
But looks like it will have to be put away for a rainy day.
Have not had too much interest.

$1,500.00 take's it all. FIRM MIKADO LOGO 10.

I WILL NOT PART OUT ANYTHING, DO NOT ASK.....

NO Offer's

You are going to have to be a little more flexible and accommodating especially considering you are trying to sell an older machine.

Older machine's with a lot of newer parts.
Example: NEW CC Speed Control $250.00 / 4-Jr Servo's $360.00
Motor 200.00

Kinda hard to be flexible.
Just one of those things that not willing part out or sell cheeper.
Will just keep it if i do not find a buyer.

Have had a local guy looking at it but did not know how expensive it is to play with these things.

May look at going to a fun fly or advertise local more.
