I am struggling to find where a small lexan window goes. It has a spherical shape (not flat)

I was thinking that it maybe covers one of the forward recesses? if so, which one? (see arrows)

It's easy to find an excuse to do wrong. Hard is not to find an excuse to do right.

I think it's the clear dome for the landing light...

All helis and planes have an expiration date stamped on them...you only find it after you crash!!

Yuppies...the landing light lens for the lower recess...the upper recess is a fresh air intake on the real ones

So should I simply add the dome over the landing light LED I plan on installing? Looks like it will dim the LED a lot...

Nope, still is plenty visible, I have two md 500s from century and the lens doesn't affect much.

It's pretty much just a lens to "show" that there is a light behind it.... If you are going with the real thing.. not needed.
