Hi folks,
I've just aquired a Vario trainer and a DX8i TX.
It doesn't have a 4 servo/ 90* menu on the swash, but can I mix another chanel and keep the four servo setup? I like the idea of a bit of built-in redundancy.

Many thanks, Marty

Well hi again folks.

I've had a bit of a fiddle with this box of tricks and kind-of got it working but I couldn't get rid of a lot of binding.

What I can't get my head around is the way AUX 2 & 3 responds to the sticks. Instead of a straight sweep of the servo, I get this yo-yo effect where the servo starts to move in the desired direction but then doubles back on its self. It's like there's some sort of invisible v curve in there.

For now I've raised the white flag - disconnected the forth servo and re-rigged the swash for a 120*three servo set up.

However, I'm still interested to hear from folk that have achieved this and being a DX8i, the model settings could be sent over the wires???

Cheers, Marty
