Few of my friends have been doing this craze so I figure, strap one pack instead of 2 and do it.

Is a hoot!

Only used 60% of the battery on this flight.

You did it yeah!!!! Collective management baby that's the key. You doing pretty good.

With all the test I have done I notice with my Suzi the pack I use to power the electronics is a small one and all I can do is 2 flights. On normal head speed I can do about 4. The other thing I notice with the new dampeners I installed I guess I have to wait till the wear out a bit because the head wobble I bit not to much. I already tried some tic tocs and loops rolls some inverted flight but collective management is what we need is like a jojo. Humm!!! Maybe we should called Jojo 3d at 1000rpm. LOL!!

The first inverted I did I said why it doesn't stop and keeps falling? You got to put all your pitch man!!!! Isn't cool that event at 1000rpm the Heli flys fast? I was stoning when I flew mine it's just amazing. Bravo Santiago welcome to the club of 1000rpm. Or Jojo 3d @ 1000rpm.

What motor are you using on your Diabolo.

Thanks guys, using a Xera 4530-500 with a 19t pinion. The Jive is set at 95%.

Is a 1750-2050rpm setup on 12S with 720mm blades or smaller, or 1000ish with 6S as you can see. The 1st 3 flights wer done with 705mm Falcon blades. It is a weird feeling the 1st time, then slowly get use to the collective responce.

The flight on video is the 1st time trying the 750mm blades in 6S mode at 1000rpm. The long blades make a big difference.

I hope the test out the NHPs 750 sometime soon with the 24t tail pulley and better tail blades. That should plant the tail much better at that rpm.

The best thing is the insane long flights. The following flight did 10:45 minutes using 85% of the 5A battery with about 10 speed passes within the flight.

Chris, definately, lets get together.

I saw Botos do the same thing in July with his E7. I would rather watch that than smack any day.

Suppa Slow
More "Super Slo" action, this time using the 24t pulley.

It helps much, but one have to be very cautious with handfulls collective when stationary or low fwd speed @ 1000rpm, the tail will let go, but nt abrutly.

At one point in the video, I tried a backwards roll right out a pullback with no pause, and it piro-rolls, lol. The second attemps is it performs the backwards roll in the middle of the pullback quite nice.

743mm w the stock boom
The aggressor 743 are safe to use with a 108mm tail blades.

The EDGE 753 which I m flying in the video CAN HIT the tail blades with the stock boom. The 753 are much heavier, wider and therefore give you better stability and efficiency.

I normally fly very smooth, and I am aware of it. I made over a dozen fun flights in this config BUT BEWARE, NEITHER Gerd, or myself reccomend using 753 with a stock boom.

If you have a stock boom, USE 743mm.

Today, there is an optional 800 boom that would allow you to clear the 753s with 116mm tails which gives an ideal setup for super slow head speed.

If you go to 800s, you can stay on 12S as the disk loading would be VERY light, but would change the gearing not to exceed 1700rpm.

If you like long endurance for 12S, a 450kv motor with a 15t pinion will yield 1100 to 1550 rpm range. You could fly a long time, and still have plenty excess to do fun stuff.

Santiago,

Great flying videos. I watched both, and they kept my attention throughout the flight, unlike some of the 3D smack videos where I start to fall asleep after about a minute or so. Those speed passes still look pretty fast even at 1000RPM. You look like you are having fun, which is the whole point of this hobby. Congratulations on a great flying helicopter.

10.34 with a 500kv motor

this is my RPM according to Mr Mel's calculator which I find spot on.

Throttle 65%: 918
Throttle 70%: 945
Throttle 75%: 973
Throttle 80%: 1000
Throttle 85%: 1028
Throttle 90%: 1055
Throttle 95%: 1083

I run it at 95% all the time, not much to spare above that.

Cool Man!!! Yeah I am at 10.18 gear ratio and I notice it fly's longer than let say 7.16, 7.66, 8.21, 8.61, 9.33 this gear ratios give more torque and HS but cut your flying time.@ 7.16 gear ratio you can fly @ 1350hs or more but it drain the batteries fast 7.5 minutes top thats what I find out.

I am using the vbar governor so far is the best. Let see if I can do a video...

You should do a special event at IRCHA remember to call it JOJO 3d...LOL!!!! HEy who can fly faster at 6s WOW!!! that will be cool

That was a cool video, but I don't know if I would have enough self control to keep from jamming the collective stick to 100% all of the time.

I especially enjoy the sound of the rotors turning that speed.

There is a way just adjust your collective curve at point 2 and 4 like an S type instead of a V curve....

It will look much better if the mechanics were in fuselage instead of a canopy. Just my opinion.
