I've finally got all my parts for my FBL conversion on my 700N. I'm using an RJX head and noticed that a standard nylock nut does not fit in the hole on the head for the jesus bolt. Drill it? Also what about the two other bolts that is on a normal Align head? I guess the squeeze bolts on the RJX head take the place of those? I'm using all Align stuff minus the head.

Ron,

Dont go through all that hassle. Just use a wrench to tighten the nut. Also, the clamping force on the 2 screws are enough to hold the head firmly to the MS.
Many, including myself have used RJX in this way and it will work fine.

Get it done so we can see her fly tomarrow

I just started today. I still have to set up my Beast and swap my elevator linkage and arms over to the FBL set up to get my geometry right. Looking forward to coming down. I just got home from a 3 week overseas stint and need to fly!! Might have to take my 450 out.

Check and make sure
Also beware the RJX swash follower, the geometry is wrong and the ball links want to pop off, had to buy the ALIGN follower to use the RJX head on my 700N.

I thought it looked kind of funny thanks for the heads up. Anybody know a part number for that offhand so I get the right one? I took this head in on trade so figured I would try it out.
