The last meet of the season, as usual the weather is never predictable, and with the weather we have been having in the UK this year, I think a lot of people gave the event a miss
For the hardy souls who did turn up, the flying field was water logged making the entrance un passable unless you had a UV
Fortunatly the field adjacent has a hard track and ample parking, which of course ment that all the models had to be put over the dividing fence then carried to the flight line
The Saturday weather was really hot and sunny, quite a change, Sunday a bit overcast, every body expecting the rain that had flooded out large areas of the South West for the previous couple of days to reappear
As it turned out we had 2 days of good flying
I took my latest Alouette II for it's first public display, and the turbine XLV,The rest of the models had all been seen on the circuit before
Thanks to Kim Johns for the photo's, unfortunatly I messed up with transferring the photo's from a new camera, so thanks to Kim for these
Now the flying season is over the winter building can begin in ernest, will have to wait until next year to see what anyone has built
