Yup voting for people who you dont endorse is the American way, Or else the other guy wins.(both parties are really the same, controlled by the same people, the issues they put in our face are irrelevant to the fact they are robbing us blind)

Too bad. I was hoping that he could have found a place in Romney's admin. I thought that he had some great ideas that could have helped the party be more conservative. Hopefully, Rand will continue to be the more mainstream one of the family and can stay relevant in todays politics.
I guess that Paul is done as a Republican now and will have to go back to just being a Libertarian side note to history.

This comes as no surprise to anybody that knows anything about this great man. Paul would never support anybody that will not, at minimum, call for a full audit of the federal reserve.

If Ron Paul had been the president in the 1930's we would all be speaking German right now!

But it's not 1930. We didn't have missiles and B-2's then. Sorry, close out borders and let the rest of this hole burn itself down.
Then again, I feel that way about half of THIS country.

What good is all of that going to help you when a terrorist group sneaks a bomb into the country and sets it off in a big city? Are you going to nuke the whole world to make sure that you got back at them? Do you think that they care whether you do or not?
You can stick your head in the ground only up til the end of the world and then it's too late.

As far as whether or not Iran should have nukes or not, well how many countries are there that have them have actually used them? Under that train of thought should the rest of the world come after America to make sure we could never use them again?

We are over there occupying their lands and holding it hostage for 1 thing, oil. Why? when we have more than enough oil and natural resources here but alot of folks just dont want to see those ugly eyesore oil wells in their area. Much in the same way nobody wants a landfill within a hundred miles.

If China had their military bases all over our lands I gotta think most of us would be pretty P/O'ed. We would probably have the same hatred for China that middle east countries have for us!

I like Ron Pauls' Idea of removing our military bases from foreign lands (we have hundreds) and building more bases over here. For defense!

Sounds like a great plan! Except for the part where history has already disproven it many times over.

It didn't work for Poland in 1939 and it didn't work for France in 1940 or Britain then either. Russia tried a treaty with Hitler and they were invaded.
Then you get our efforts to stay out of WW2 that resulted in the disaster at Pearl harbor and more recently you have to look at Clintons hands off appeasement policies that got over three thousand killed on 9/11.

I do agree though that countries like Germany, Japan, Korea, etc... should have to pay the lion's share for their defence instead of letting us do almost all of it for them.

But if you pull your defences back within your own borders that is where you will fight your next war!

Anything is possible if you don't know what you are talking about!
