Jose:

I was taking a very careful look at that head, as it is a lower cost similar looking unit to the double the price German built head. It does use a complex mechanical phasing of the head in place of either electronic (German head seems to be electronic phasing) or simple mechanical phasing. I get really nervous looking at that lower linkage, not so much from the swashplat up. I would almost be tempted to let a Skookum 720 look after the phasing and use direct to swash connections from the servos, bypassing the phasing levers. Since the pictures are not complete for the Scaleflying.de head, you can't see if it is a similar lower swashplate and lever construction to the CNC Heli head. For the time being, I will stay with my Century head. Take care.

Yeah, the lower swash setup looks like a nightmare. I'd rather spend the money on a 3-axis stabilization system and electronically adjust the phasing.

Throw everything but the head away!

Apart from the Rube Golberg swashplate etc. the swash driver will need a big counterweight to avoid vibration.

Having a second look at the driver, I agree with you. That is too much weight on the arm to not have a counter balance of some sort on the other side for it. Take care.

Same company, same swash plate design. They do work but they being plug-n-play will have a small amount of deflection, that being said, they do fly well. Problem with that setup, you will never get zero deflection on them.

I have a smartmodel plug and play 5 blade head 600 size and it has a small amount of deflection on it but flies great. Is not enough to make a difference...
