on the text editor, click on URL button just above the text editor, paste the URL address that you want the link to link to, then click ok, then type the name of the link, then click on /URL button and you are done adding a link.

Find the listing you are wanted to forward on. Select "PM" under the OP first post and a new private message will open. Message is going to show up as

Recipient: Some Seller(This is where you want to change it to a new Recipient if you want to pass the information on to someone you know)

Re Topic: Title of for sale listing

Simple...to use the "Post Tags" at the top of the edit window go to the site you wish to link to. In the address bar of your browser, highlight the site's URL (leave out the "http: //" part of the URL).

Once you've highlighted the address you want to link to in your address bar, use CTRL-C to copy the link.

Now, go to either the post you are making or the PM you're writing. Look at the "Post Tags:" box above the text edit window.

Click the "URL" button and a box will pop up with "http: //" in it. Put your cursor in that window, and using CTRL-V, paste your copied link address into the window. Click OK, the window will close and the "url" link will show up in the text edit window. Look back up at the "Post tags:" stuff, you will see the URL button is now pink and says "/url".

Click that button and your link should now be inserted in your post/PM and be ready for clicking.

-----

Alternate method:

Go to the website you wish to link to. Highlight the entire address in the address bar, then copy it using CTRL-C, (OR if your browser has a "copy link" button, use that to capture the link address).

Once you have a copy of the address stashed away, go back to your post or PM, and type:

[ url]

then paste your link using CTRL-V

then type

[ /url]

Make sure to leave out the space between the left bracket "[" and the following "u" or "/" character, however --- there should be NO space anywhere between the left bracket "[" and the right bracket "]" of each manually entered tag.

You'll end up with:

[ url]link adrress here[ /url]

(don't leave those spaces in the brackets, though.

You should be good to go.

-----

Second alternate:

Type or copy the URL link address into your message or PM (leave out the "http. //" part, however.

Highlight the link you just pasted or typed in, then go to the Post Tags at the top of the edit window. Click the URL button that's between the "U" button and "IMG" button. A box will show up, click the OK button to close it.

The link will be in your message, ready to click.

You must have Java installed and running on your PC for this to work.

You then need to add descriptive text behind the "]" and then hit the pink "/URL" button to close the tag.

1. Some Link that is clickable with description

or just past the link in without the url tags and just a copy and paste from your browser address

2. https://rc.runryder.com/t665638p1/

To get example 1 your text will look like this:

[ url=http://rc.runryder.com/t665638p1/]Some Link that is clickable with description[/url]

**I added space at the begining so it would show an the extended format, just remove the space at the begining and the browser will format the text properly.
