none of us here are cheerleaders or "Mittenheads". I know I'm not. But the base argument is that a vote for anybody other than Romney is a vote for Obama...and that, sad as it may be, is true.
Why bother to even get up, miss work and burn fuel, if it means nothing??? Because in the end, that's what it it is...a wasted vote. I'm a Libertarian, but no way in heck I'm not voting against another 4 years of what we've just lived through. I'll crawl to the polls if I have to.

fla heli boy, so you will vote for mitt? somebody that is virtually the same on issues as obo? That just makes no sense to me. I hate this obama so I will vote for the other obama...

As I have said before that could equate to possibly 12 years of obama style policies if mitt were to be elected then re-elected.

Gary Johnson. I'm 49, have a 4.5 yr old and 5 month old girls. Why am I voting for Mitt Romney? Because I want my girls to at least have a chance at a bright future....not a bankrupt, 3rd world Euro zone country.

Gary Johnson. I work with a 26 year old, very professional, but at times, immature young man. For his age, he is extremely responsible. However, he keeps saying how he is going to vote for Gary Johnson. Why? Because he thinks politics is 'dumb', and he hates Obama and Romney. He likes this guys commercials, but admits he doesn't know **** about him.

Gary Johnson. If HE had been the one that had won and was elected to run against Obama, I would be voting for him...as well as Ron Paul. But you know what? He didn't win, neither did Ron Paul.

So, yap, you have every right in the world to cast your vote for Obama, I mean Gary Johnson. Same difference in the long run.

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should......

If this country diminishes, I will leave it in a heart beat and take my family with me.
If this be true you should hae left here long ago! Tell us why you ae not just trolling here? If you are what your say you are you would fight for what is right!
You pay endless taxes, allow your lives to be dictated to you, your rights revoked (see Patriot Act and NDAA), your purchases to be predetermined for you (see social security, medicare/aid, EPA, DHS, etc..)
So you don't? This whole response is you all ,you all,you all, seems as if you are already gone?. The changes we need will only come from the bottom up ,from the local level but at the same time picking the best available at the top. Giving up on the top is just as others here have stated.
It's your life ,your vote you choose these are just my opinions on the matter. Good day sir.

Similarities....maybe. But they're far from being the same. At the very least at their core, they're 180 degrees apart. One has worked and made his fortune, the other??? Not so much. Sorry, but at least I see Mitens as a man that respects somebody like me that's willing to struggle, go thru some hard times, but keeps up the good fight to own my own business and succeed. Obama would like to make things so hard for me that I give up and go on the dole.
As I said, they aresimilar in some ways, but they're also VERY different in others. And as Dennis said, give the guy a shot, if he governs like Obama, I'll vote him out too.
But voting for Johnson is just a striaght waste of time, though I would agree with him over the others on most every point. I did it with Perot and for the right reasons. But this time it's MUCH more importanat. We HAVE to get Obama out. I mean it when I say.... I'd vote for ANYBODY over Obama and I could NOT mean that more.
We're at THE tipping point and I don't think we could withstand four more years of this guy.

While I wanted to vote for Gary Johnson, I filled in the oval for Romney. Too late to change that as I already mailed in my ballot.

We havent quite reached the point of no return yet. I am not trolling, I was honestly curious about Gary Johnson. He will be on my ballot in PA.
So you don't? This whole response is you all ,you all,you all, seems as if you are already gone?.
I am gone, I am pissed that the population has allowed these things to happen. The local level is not even in focus, and no-one shows up to vote for state elections. MD had a dismal turnout at their last elections. People are complacent and have no idea what is happening to them.
Why? Because he thinks politics is 'dumb', and he hates Obama and Romney. He likes this guys commercials, but admits he doesn't know **** about him.
You're right we dont know that much about him, thats why I created this thread...Hopefully at least one person looking at this did some research on him. I know I have recently. I like him so far.

none of us here are cheerleaders or "Mittenheads". I know I'm not. But the base argument is that a vote for anybody other than Romney is a vote for Obama...and that, sad as it may be, is true.
If this comment is not cheer-leading then what is? Give me an example.
Why bother to even get up, miss work and burn fuel, if it means nothing??? Because in the end, that's what it it is...a wasted vote.
This comment shows you have no understanding what personal liberty in a republic means. We are(were) a republic. Furthermore, there is more than just the president on the ballot. I will be voting for senators and house reps as well.

The argument to stay at home because I'm not voting for R or D is a childish argument.
I'm a Libertarian, but no way in heck...
You are not, because you are voting to have your liberties further subdued.
And as Dennis said, give the guy a shot, if he governs like Obama,
Thats what people said about Obama and Bush...

I will not give him a shot, he has no conviction, no vision, no consistency. His voting record sucks and all he has said up until the debate was that he was not Obama. All others who brought real solutions to the table were picked apart, marginalized and removed from the election.

Mitt Romney is your elected Repub, because he was FORCED into his position by the establishment, through immoral and undemocratic means.

I dont like Mitt as much as I dont like Obama. Mitt wants a ton of things that I am against. Obama the same.

No, I live in the real world. Choices have consequences. The consequence of me voting for Johnson is that Obama is one vote closer to getting 4 more years to destroy us, as is his plan.
Put it to you this way...I couldn't stomach McCain and I sure wasn't going to vote for Obama, so I didn't vote in 2008. If I voted for Johnson this time, it would have the same affect.
Now, if you wanna talk about going to DC and physically removing people and breaking out the tar and feathers, well then I'm all in.
But the reality is that Johnson has NO SHOT and I have to vote for the guy I think will do LESS DAMAGE.
Vore for Johnson...I applaud you, I really do. But I've been here before with Perot and I'm not making that mistake again. I really truly believe Borat is here to blow this place up and I'll do what I can to stop him. Simple as that.

Disclaimer: I dont agree with every statment in these videos, but they should get you thinking. These are similarities on issues, however, they have shown the same moral standards in the past. (See Mitts stance on assault weapons bans in his home state) See mitts omission of the FED and how it will cause yet another financial crash in the near future. Sometimes it not what they say, rather what they dont say. (In Mitts case, nothing he says stays

Fast forward the health care part...(even though I dont think health care standards should be mandated at all, state or local level

Im not sure this argument is true (it's pretty common). I know some previous Obama supports that are angry. Why is it assumed this? The polls? The polls are b.s.

Tell me what the confidence level and intervals are with these polls and maybe I will start listening to them. Sample size in statistical tests are extremely important.

I'll be amazed and buy you a beer if Johnson gets over 2% of the popular vote.
I voted Perot because I agreed with his positions, but in the end, I wasn't scared of Clinton winning.
I'm petrified of Obama getting another 4 years, hence my vote.
I'm no Mitt fan and Ryan's a little over the top IMO.

Sorry to pull your chain but I wanted to see your response. We both think alike on many issues I just think it is sad that you have had to give up on the republic. I am an eternal optimist that in the end all will be fixed. Just the facts will show it will not be fixed by us here on earth.

I will stop there so I don't get spanked by mark

This is where candidates like Gary and RP are great, they united people from both sides. With Mitt and Obama you get polarization.

Until we come together, we are doomed. Unfortunately the people that unite will never be accepted by the media, fox, cnn, msnbc... all of them. Until people feel enough pain, then they will change. Luckily this may be coming soon.

Make no mistake about it, in order to correct our current situation, a huge crash must occur. No getting around it. That is politically unpopular, so everything is being kicked down the road. When it does implode, it will 10X more painful.

Save your money, deflation is coming to a town near you.

every single word you just wrote is right on the mark. wE HAVE TO BOTTOM OUT FIRST and I think that will happen under Obama and MAY happen under Romney too. One is just more likely to help that along than the other.
