Ok guys what servo arms are you running on your Whiplash Gasser. Yep I have to ask, sorry. Reading the manual it said you need HD servo arms on the swashplate. I have some Du-Bro Super strength arms, but the arm is twice as tall as normal arms so it hits the helicopter frame.

I will probably use the standard arms for now so I can set up the radio and start breaking in the motor.

As my local hobby shop is VERY small I will need to order in the arms, so if you can tell me what arms you are using it would be helpful.

I have Savox servo's so futaba type arms will work.

Thanks

ALIGN SERVO ARM PART #
The part number for the ALIGN servo arm is #HSP61013.

Use the inner hole 19mm and your set up will be spot on for your FBL controlers resolution.

Yes. Savox, and Align servo's use Futaba arms.

Here is where you can get the Align metal arms for $20.69

I dont like metal arms with metal gears so I went with the Futaba arms shown above.

These are the arms you want to use.

http://shop.dubro.com/products/prod...r=673/101.0.1.1

There are 3 in one pack that will work and have 19mm spacing. Order 2 sets if you want all 3 to be an identical match since two are the same and one is longer.

I would skip metal horns. Metal horns can easily cause servo damage in a crash.

Sorry but as I stated above, I tried the Du-Bro arms and they will not work unless you use the JR servo spacer. The Du-Bro arms are over twice as tall as other arms and hit the frames.

If you have the arms installed then please post a photo showing how you did it.

Thanks

I do have the servo spacer installed.

I run these on My Whiplash, Fury 55 and Furion6 IMO they are the best option. Since you have a set you know how robust they are. I have not come across better non metal solution.

Yep those are the ones I wanted, but note that they are out of stock and have been for a couple of months.

What I did was cut down the large wheel arms that came with the Savox servos. These have been working fine so far.

Thanks for your help
