If any of you are proud of your Logo 600 or 600SE equipment installation, I am looking for ideas to help my son get his 600's equipment installed.

Also, do you need to cut the motor shaft off to clear the batteries? We have a Scorpion HKIII-4035-560KV motor.

Thanks

I have the same motor and the shaft does allow the battery to fit under it.
I have just under 1/4" clearance.

I only have 2 pictures of my 600, I should take some new ones.
I have switched to Futaba with a CGY750 but located in the same place.
My Logo 600 has a carbon fiber frame.

Thanks, TheWoodCrafter

I have a buddy that made a shield that protects the lipos if you crash, it keeps the pinion from going into the lipos. You may want to consider making one just for protection.

Hi,

I have a thread running about my 500se and there are some pictures that show my electronics placement etc..

And yes i did cut the motor shaft so it is about 1mm short of the bottom of the pinion.

I ran with the scorpion 4035-500 regular shaft till the last crash punctured a 180$ 12S pack. I've cut the shaft flush with the pinion now. I like haveing more room to push the pack in now as well.

High Voltage just works better

Cut the shaft as Rogman88 did. No need to have a spear ready to puncture the packs in a crash!

There are several good options. I myself cut the shaft almost flush with the pinion but also added 1x3" CF plates to each of my packs.

I just bought the 2mm sheets from HK and cut them with my dremel. If you do this, make sure you wear a mask when cutting.
