Don't know exactly...I was asking.
I can't hear it that well IRL due to hearing loss....I said that too I think.

People said it sounds a little lean if any on the high and fat in the middle....I'm satisfied with that.

I literally never use the word literally right.

When I used to fly 2-cycle engines in full scale, the running joke was always if it's actually 2-stroking, it's too lean.....

But there's a kernel of truth to that. There were always guys here and there who'd try to "tune" their engines, generally trying to extract max power out of them. They were also usually going down in fields and such with the prop stopped when the poor engines gave up the ghost and seized.
The rest of us, tho, kept with the stock jetting which was pretty rich, but what you want on any 2-stroke that cranks a prop or a rotor and isn't in a land vehicle.

It turns out that's how I've gotten good running and long life out of my nitros also. Pretty much, I get it 2-stroking in whatever regime I'm setting the mixture for (high-speed or midrange hover), go in a couple clicks and basically stop there. That gets me pretty close to the "knee", with enough margin in case it leans out for some reason or other.

That may be a little richer than most guys run. But the little extra fuel that uses is cheaper than engine parts so I go ahead and make the sacrifice lol...

So that's what I did on my midrange mix - I closed it until it was just 2-stroking in the hover, went in 2 more clicks and left it there.
