MIKE, People change there minds and You should know that better than any one being in customer service.

Getting Nasty with one of your customers,and You are accusing me of dishonesty!!

I am in NO way Tring to discredit MIN AIRS Customer service I was asking for the details of the offer you made.

I Did Not Exspect that the canopy to be disposed of Before the matter was resolved. And a Replacement was sent!

So I asked for a courtesy discount on a second canopy and Mike goes into defencive.
Yes 8 days ago I declined your offer Mike, I acknoledge that.

All I did was ask you to extend me the discount that you were going to give in that deal if I buy a second canopy when they come in.

WOW You are really stooping to New Lows and showing the Great customer service that MIN AIR WANTS To Project.

This is my first experence with MIN AIR are Mike Fortin.

I am NOT Impressed,Happy or Satisfied With Either.

We are sorry this experience hasn't gone the way you'd hoped, but we have indeed tried.

We in no way accused you of dishonesty, you did change your post after you realized it was a bit inflammatory. We also have not become nasty with you, we've tried very hard to accommodate you.

We had agreed to send you a new canopy, what happened to the canopy that you sent back is irrelevant.

But I tell you what, we want you to be happy.

We will offer you not only the new canopy that we agreed upon but also we will offer you 30% off on an additional canopy plus shipping.

If you'd like to take advantage of this offer, please let us know and we will gladly send you both when they arrive.

Airing business is usually a shakedown. This should have never been in the forum. Sometimes there are manufacturers defects, it is inevitable. MA has some of the best service anywhere. This thread should be closed and this business should be private.

I respectfully disagree Zaaaguy72. I think posts like this keep everything transparent and show how companies (MA in this case) are making every reasonable attempt to satisfy an unreasonable customer. It makes choosing a company or manufacturer much easier in my opinion.

I recently switched back to MA because of examples exactly like this. I find it both refreshing and comforting to know that if I have a problem, I am able to speak directly to the manufacturer and the people behind them. To me, that is priceless!

We as consumers have many choices and I believe this example is exactly why companies like MA are making such a huge comeback and our overseas manufacturers are rapidly loosing their market shares. Just my two cents...

I didn't look at it that way Ghost, good point. MA has been very good to me on many levels and how far mike is going to please the guy in this forum is above most companies. Kudos MA.

Several of us in our club just ordered new Whiplash gassers. I know that I made the right decision especially after reading this thread. MA support is beyond that of what I would ever expect.
