Looks good ! I remember years ago adding my homemade Chinese weights to the tail of my Trex 450 and it worked great. If you can up the gain without wag that is always a good thing!

Setup is everything, All my heli's can fly far better than I can pilot them

Interesting. Up 2 points tr gain from what 0, where you were at? Curious on what # you're at now?

Also can you answer.. Do these grips work with stock tr shaft or MH only?

Thx for sharing?

Hey
No work around that I know of but I didn't try or even look at the issue. I read RKH tail grips work on stock but I've not tried

i decided to try a pair of 250 align stock tail blades ( cut down ) to replace my scratched up stock 130x blades, they are a little heavier, wow, what a difference they made. no more vibration.

D12bn,

It looks like you changed out more then the blade grips.

Could you give us a complete list all items that were swapped out?

OK
First I put a MH slider and still had vibrations but it flew good. Then added Boca bearings and still had vibrations. Then MH tail blade grips and vibrations went away. Thought this will be great. Well it was the non weights grips and I could not get the tail to work right. Put the MH tail case on with the stock tail blade grips and vibration was back but the tail was working well. Then installed the weighted tail grips and that's what you see in the video, very smooth and now the tail is working again.
I have other upgrades as well but they did not effect the tail vibrations.

Hope that helps

I thought in general your tail gain had to come down after doing this mod? At least thats what I found.

Remember you are putting ALOT more strain on the tail grip bearings.

60% of the time, it works every time!

Hello
Unless your into bling or breaking the same part or having a problem I would not buy upgrades. I have a totally stock 130X that flies great. And I have a second 130X that I test upgrades on. I have so many upgrades on it I can feel the weight difference. I can still do all of the 3D moves I know. However without a doubt I notice the weight. With the some upgrades I also noticed it is a little more precise and I'm sure most of the parts are stronger. The weighted tail grips did get rid of some vibration but I don't notice any other improvement. Maybe a better pilot could feel a difference but I could not.

I just installed the MH tailbox, slider and chinese weighted blade grips and shaft. First spool up was vibe free. I would think that just the shaft and tail hub assy might be all you need for smooth spoolup.
