Well almost frustrated. I am trying to enjoy this build but apparently these electronics are getting the best of me. I am running the align 500e Pro with the provided gp 900 gyro, esc, motor and servos. I also have the spektrum ar8000 with satellite receiver and telemetry.

I just need some setup help...which way do the wires go??? White or black up (label) on gyro??

Also what connects into what...this what I am trying to connect. See picture for reference. I think I have it right.

Also do I have to unplug gyro to bind receiver?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I believe white is on top.

Look at the color coding on the label. The color on the left represents the top pin, right is the bottom pin.

The bind procedure should be the same as Spektrum, not sure though. Make sure your motor is backed away from the main gear until everything is programmed correctly.

Ok, still not sure if the label tells me which way the wires go, also if they are plugged in wrong do they just not work? Or do I run the risk of damaging the electronic?

Setup:
I have the esc plugged into the gyro, along with all the servos and a connection wire to my ar8000.

From the ar8000, I have telimentry plug fed into an aux port on rx and the satellite plugged into the ar8000.

Also, there is a question regarding one of the wires of the 6 multi-color power cords, I just can remember which one...it's labeled something different according to the manual. Thanks again for any help!!!

if they are upside down you won't harm anything but the servos won't work, just flip the connectors over to see if that gets the servos to work. try one component at a time and work slowly. try hooking up the servos to the RX first, make sure they work then add the TM1000 then try hooking uo the gyro. don't hook up the esc until last. I have a 'bench setup' 4 cell NiMH battery just for setting up electronics without using the ESC.

also, you might consider purchasing a couple of standalone RX's for the GP900. Then you wouldn't need the AR8000 at all, save it for another heli or airplane.

you can plug the TM1000 into any open slot. You'll get voltage information but not the radio statistics (fades and hold). you can still use the TM1000 for flight pack voltage and RPM info. that is the only real disadvantage I can see to removing the AR8000 from the mix but I think it's worth it to make it simpler. That's the way I run my Trex-500 - using the 3GX but basically the same setup.

Great thanks, I think I may try the 8000 rx first then maybe remove. Thanks again for your help

So I went with the gp900 and two dmsx satellite setup without the tm1000. Very clean setup.

This should be it right?
