You may need more between the different Throttle modes to notice a difference in sound.
I always like straight Throttle-curves with Jazz / Jives myself

Smittylube, same here; have had mine over 5yrs now, although a few more
crashes than that.......maybe 3 'REBUILDS' over the years

And yes, I am/have been very happy w. Jives! Like Hilliheli, I like the
straight curves and they work great for me. I would have to look in my Tx
to check the flat values it is set to, but definitely have a big change in
rpm when flicking between I/Us. Actually have I2 set lower than I1 in both
my V-bar helis.

In the third, going to a Neo in it, all the above goes out the window....

Of course flat curves,
Those were my values in each UI1/2/3. I've since changed them 10 lower.

Did you guys adjust end points different than 100/100?
Using mr Mel's calc it has different results if choosing atv adjusted for the mode 4 jive, and suggests possibly 80 for an end point.

I think maybe I should have added I was flying with a 14mz till about 2 yrs ago, but now using 14sg with telemetry.

It was advised as per stated in the manual to reset mode 1 with a new battery cell / motor changes.

Reset modes 1/4/10.

Once today and once a week ago the motor quit and the LED was flashing 8. I guess that means it's seen too much current.

I flew it a half dozen flights without issue since it did it once, but after fussing and resetting modes having it do it again I'm a bit nervous...
