sure is a bunch of haters here.
Who is hating on the Rush? I haven't seen anyone say anything negative about it.
I have a rush 750, and it flies very nice. its very quick in the cyclic. as fast or faster then my X5 and F50 all day long. ive had pro pilots beat the snot out of it with no issues.
Awesome. It looks like a great heli. I'd love to try one. Pro pilots mean NOTHING, though. They are just guys who are really good at flying, and could make anything look great. Hell, there is a video out there of Kyle Stacy flying a Blade CP years ago and making it look better than 98% of the people in the world could do with your Rush or just about anything else out there.
the design of the entire kit and how it goes together is very nice. i personally think the quality and tolerance of the parts are on par with the top kits out. for a new kit that just hit the market, there have been very very few small issues that have been fixed easily.
Awesome. Hopefully they continue to be of such high quality. I've owned some of his other helis and they were all very nice, but had quality issues. It seems like he has more control over this than he did at Outrage, so hopefully these continue to be made with quality components.
another thing is charley(owner and designer) actually gets on the forums and communicates about the product and issues. very very few compainies do that. you never see align, sab, outrage, gaui, or anyone else on their specific forums talking about the product REGULARLY. that makes a difference to me.
You will be happy to know that you can go buy a Quick, MSH, Audacity, RJX, Compass (the designer comes on, not the owner), Synergy, or NextD hell. All of them have the owners and designers regularly participating in the forums. It is nice to have a direct line to the people at the top.
i guess some of you haters just wont know what your missing.
Again, nobody is hating on the heli. It is simply stated that the head (while nice) is not unique. That same head design has been commercially available for years, but apparently the original designer chose not to patent it. I'm sure there are some refinements (specifically in how the arms are mounted, I understand the Rush uses posts instead of screws), but let's be honest here, the claim that it is different than anything else and original is stretching the truth. I'm sure it is an awesome heli, and I plan on buying one, but it will be for some of the other things that it has that are fairly unique, not the head.

If you'd like to buy one of those heads for another heli, they have been sold here for years:

i personally could care less if the head is "patent pending"

what i care about is how the helicopter flies, crashes, parts, looks, and long term durablity.
i know some of what i said is hard to know with it being a new kit. but i really like the fusion 50 and how it flies so i took a chance on the same designer and very very happy.

i agree with issues with outrage QC being sub par at best. Charley has a strong present in every aspect of THIS product this time.

here is another reason why i'm glad i bought a Alees Rush 750....

i put my kit together, put about 5 or 6 flights on it and i must has missed loctite on one of my boom strut screws. during flight it came loose and my my blades sucked it up and destroyed it. i landed with no issues. made a small post about it on helifreak and do you know, Charley contacted me himself and told me he had a extra set and would send me the boom strut for free just because.....really ?????
now would any other owner/designer/compainy do that ?

just seems funny how some sites favor different types/name brands of helicopter than others. never understood that.

I would have to agree with cmsilvoy 100%. I too do not see what the big deal is.It funny how all the little punks out there think that the rc heli, and FBL are recent developments just for them. Those of us who have been in this hobby from the beginning, find your posts very humerous indeed.

I will agree with you that it looks great, and I hope the company can be successful. However I still think a patent is just another selling point created just for that reason.

Yes to that question"would any other mfg do that" Miniature Aircraft is the answer to that question. I hope that "Made in the USA" still means something, but I'm beginning to doubt it.

I don't know about anyone else, but I find the "little punks" statement funny. I may not have been around the hobby as long as many have but I find being lumped in the "little punk" category at my age really cool. Thanks!

It is not just the the phasing arm set up that makes the head different. The dampers are also a different material also that holds up better. The thing I have noticed about this head is that it does react faster than anyother head that I have flown from the Outrage head to the "dfc style" head on the KDS Innova 700 v2 and the head on the Synergy E7.
