I have a Blade 450X that I have redone from stock configuration. Flys great and tail holds on full collective punch type maneuvers, tic tocs, rainbows and funnels. However, the tail will always blow out in backwards flight if I have any speed at all on the heli. I have set up the 7200 on my Protos and trex 600 and have no issues on them following the established setup procedures.
I am running an Align 425mg on the tail, CC bec at 6v for power and have KBDD tail blades. Tail has mechanical setup for no drift and gets full range of motion with no binding and very smooth. I have recently replaced the tail grips with metal ones and they are slop free and did not make any difference to the issue.
Heading lock gain in 7200 is medium with 30% set in tx. I can't raise tx gain any higher without getting high speed wag in side loaded maneuvers.
Any ideas to check would be greatly appreciated. It flys wonderful with the exception of fast backwards so looking to get it all dialed in. Thanks in advance!
beating the air into submission...........cool!
