Yes. What's up? Haven't been flying Esky in a while. Latest model is a Blade 130x which reminds me a lot of my Esky except it flies better. Lots of time in the bench and not much more than 15 flights in a row without needing service. Ya, I'm reliving the good old days. But just like the Esky, I'm sure I am one repair away from reliable model. When will I ever learn?

Kenny bought one a couple of weeks ago and it does fly nice---kinda like Mcpx's big brother. Two weak points we discovered was an extremely sloppy pitch slider right out of the box- even sloppier than Esky and Ken hit some grass on landing and the rear bevel gear stripped out. Its the gear that the tourque tube goes into and the keyway in the gear got hogged out, but other than that not to bad. I still prefer my brushless McpX--- fewer moving parts to content with. Farting around with homemade 3D foamy planes, Good Cheap Fun !!!

The list of 130x issues is quite a bit longer for me. Can't make it much more that 10 - 15 flights before a part falls off, strips, breaks or just stops working. Really enjoying it when its in the air. I have the Walkera pitch slider in now along with Boca bearings in the tailbox. Much better than stock. I buy extra sets of gears as they are main thing that is wearing quickly.

I love the blade MCPX. It bounces off the ground, push the main gear back on and go again.

It may sound CrAzY but I thought Eflite might have been better off putting a brushless micro tail motor on the 130 instead of a cheap-ass torque tube system. Eflite always lets the public at large do the final R+D in the field So the 130 has a brushless main but a sub-par tail--- the Mcpx has a brushed main but needs a slightly longer tailboom to prevent blowouts Whacked Hobby !

Pretty much Brad, for me it has been the least costly heli I have ever owned--- it takes a lickin and keeps on tickin.

All good points, but I'm not going to start complaining. The mCPX was historic. First FBL model of its size and actually flies quite well stock. Even better with a simple BL main motor. I learned inverted and a fair amount of collective management on stock a mCPX. As a training tool its served me better than my over powered models that I only get to fly a handful of times during the year.

The 130x is not far off. The Microheli pitch slider and metal A gear should take care of my issues.

Isn't Blade130 same story as Blade CP or HBK? Just one more mode and it will fly fantastic?

I do not fly HBK any more, although it is in ready to go state. I recently repaired old Walkera 4G6 (some soldering work), which I use for home flying. I do not invert it at home though - I am afraid I will crash it and repair and tuning will take again infinity. It is still old FB technology, but it flies great in no wind condition.

Somewhat. Except I would say that it flies far better than both of them. Reliability is the only issue with the 130x.

I never got the Blade CP to fly correctly and the HBK2 still had mechanical issues that prevented me from tuning it the way I liked. There was not quite enough room in the head to get the amount of cyclic and collective pitch I wanted. The tail was always weak, even with v3 mods. More than once, I thought about going FBL with it. The main thing that stopped me was the lack parts availability. Mainly, CF blades. I have a nice set on there now from HeliMax. But they are not available any longer. Rather not go back to cutting down Align woodies.

Well to be fair Greg, The King and Blade CP had no stabilization systems---- both the MCPx and 130x have the 3G system that helps the pilot---- we learned without it. These kids got it easy today
