Interesting that he is using the 3 axis TAGS01 FBL gyro for rudder control instead of the single axis JR 770.

But Scott has totally given up on glo models. His primary NATS model, electric, actually had a needle valve mounted to the side frames.

Interesting that he is using the 3 axis TAGS01 FBL gyro for rudder control instead of the single axis JR 770.
I saw Scott fly it at IRCHA in the Speed Cup. He removed the flybarred head and used a FBL head. That's probably the reason he's got a 3-axis gyro on it.

Indeed. I spent some time talking with him about setups at IRCHA. I asked him why he didn't go full fuse on these, he said he just wanted to change a bit and try this half fused tail thing. He was liking it quite a bit.
