I am in the middle of building my new Ballistic. The frame is complete and now moving on to the OWB/main gear installation. The instruction book makes it look like you build the OWB from pieces, mine came fully assembled. Do I need to tear it down and apply green locktite to the outer OWB sleeve to keep it from slipping?

Paul, you should not have to re-assemble the OWB.
I have not had mine slip as of yet from being factory assembled.
I have both the ENV and Ballistic, they use the same OWB.
If it gives you a sense of reassurance then go ahead and do so
If it does slip in the future then I would clean and re-loctite the assembly.

I would take the extra time to green lock tite the sleeve in the OWB. Mine was fine for several flights and it went in flight. I totally saved it so no harm no foul. Just remember, you CAN buy a little peace of mind.
