As I wrote in another topic about how I like DX18, you have to adventure in the menus, manual is on the expert side, very short !

So, I copy a model and named it " test 1" and started to play with it; D/R & expo chapter brings first three questions:

1.- I managed to create 4 conditions ( curves) but, I can not duplicate then in other tests ( 0,1,2 & 3 ); how can this be done systematically ??

2.- when assigning expos in normal, idle-1 & idle-2 you click on swith, then roll to flight mode and a bottom new line appears as little squares with H,N,1,2, if you click again on those, they lock and inhibits different expos for other conditions and preset values equal to the condition you had a that exact time, I can not manage to disengage it, how do you do it ??

3.- by the same token, if you click on 3 of the four squares you inhibit the expo on that curve, period and end !. How can you re-establish it ???

My fear on points number 2 & 3 is that I will end up re-setting the full model to start all over again !!

On throttle curve chapter, you establish throttle hold, I was able to do it with out a problem with two models but, on last one, I just could not adjusted and end up using throttle cut, which worked perfect !

Any comments regarding setting throttle hold ??

So far this are my questions, I thank you in advance for those answers you may give me !!

It is kind of confusing but you have to keep playing with it.
When the bottom selections are locked you are on the Inh list and have to select the curve you want to work on.Then go back to the selections on the bottom and change them.
With the block on the bottom corresponding to the switch position filled in with black it means that curve will be active with that switch setting or settings. You kind of have to go back and forth between the curve # selection and the active switch position selections to get them the way you want.If you if you dont have a curve assigned to one of the listed switch positions it becomes Inhibited and is listed in the Inh selection of the curve selections. You have to go back to that specific curve and assign it to remove it from being Inh.
If that makes sense. You just have to play with it more until you understand what is going on.

Setting the throttle curves or Hold is kind of the same way. When you enter the Throttle curve menu roll the roller until the box is around the H.Then click and roll to highlight(box) the values.Click then adjust. The box around the selection(N,1,2 or H)is the menu you are working on.The little tick mark below the listings is the current mode the radio is in.You can work on any of the modes regardless of what mode the radio is currently in.If H is not an option in the TCurve menus you may have to go back to FMode Setup and make sure Hold has a switch assigned to it.

If you still dont understand feel free to ask again. I will try to explain better.

Thanks aerocal. I played with it this morning and as your said, changing the curves gets you out of the Inh list however, now conditions remain the same for all, no matter where condition switch was/is on N,1,2 !

I have not been able to disengaged multiple black squares as yet !!

I will try again tonight, round #3 !

Select each curve one at a time and then when you are in any of them other than Inh roll down and select the black boxes and click on them.
Make them all blank and then start over.
Try making one box black for each curve and a different box for each switch position.
What is going on is that the curves can each be assigned to their own switch position. So you could have a different curve assigned to multiple switches for the same surface. What you have is the curves are what you would call rates. We had dual rates then triple rates and now this is quad rates.0,1,2,3&4. rates and they dont all have to be controlled by the same switch for any given surface. The radio will disallow making conflicting selections.
