I'll start with this first..
Yesterday I wanted to mess around with the gov settings more.Turned the TX,turned the RX on and waited for the swash to move twice then started the engine.Spooled up and hit idleup once the engine warmed up and the gov wasn't working .Set the heli down and checked the radio incase I hit something by mistake and all was good.Went back up and same thing,gov not working so I flipped from idle 1 to idle 2 and no change in headspeed..I landed and turned the idleup 1 down from 96% to 70% then went back up,still not working.So now in thinking WTF,everything was good yesterday and I didn't change anything so maybe a magnet slung out..Killed the motor and hooked the Vbar up to my laptop then turned the fan.Gov light came on so the magnet didn't fall off so I reprogrammed the whole gov setup..Went back up and again,gov not working ..Hooked it back up to the laptop and noticed a light on that said "low limit" which was never on before.Turned the heli off then back on thinking thats what it needed and flew again.Still no gov and the "low limit" light was still on when I plugged it back into the laptop.

I turned the heli off,changed RX pack and put a fresh one in (went from a 2S 6.6V 1100mAh LiFe pack to a 2S 7.4V 1600mAh Lipo) and when I plugged it back into the Vbar the light was off .Flew and the gov was working.
What does the "low limit" light mean?All I can think of is low voltage limit but the 6.6V LiFe pack is new and I used it the past 2 days...

2nd question is---->
Which setting do I need to adjust to get the gov holding headspeed better and react faster?If im easy on the collective doing tictocs it holds headspeed really good but it drops off fast if im trying to jam on it..Once the headspeed starts dropping,it will keep dropping but really slow..Then it recovers headspeed really slow..Thought it was a tunning issue but it isn't..

Left something out about the gov not working issue..
I remember changing the "minimum gov" so right before I changed the battery,I put the "minimum gov" back where it was..Didn't think about it but could that be why the gov stopped working?

At one time i used a life rx battery and would get error messages on vbar info log of a bad gov sensor and then switched to a 2s lipo and never get the error message. I am using an align gov sensor and i think i read here that it likes the higher voltage. Dont know for sure if that is the problem, where do you have the low limit set at now...i will see where mine is set at tomorrow. Btw, even though i got the error messages the gov always worked perfect

I fly 2c 2100 packs. I four flights per flight just to be safe. Vbar sucks the current fast.

Try increasing your ramp up number from the default 3 to something like 15 and see how it reacts.

I flew today. Was testing doing auto bailouts. I found 15 was a good number on my 600 and 700.
