What's wrong with an EC-135? Most people who fly them, like them.

Owned or not, photo-shopped or not, leased or not, advertising for a donation or not...it doesn't bother me someone's got the money to purchase that heli.

Never heard of a poor person giving anyone a job

The most important thing is, I think I've found my next scale project Beautiful machine.

Poor or not, anybody that buys something gives someone a job. He's usually the one that does the actual work. Only problem is all the rich are sending those jobs to China.

A poor person is much more likely to pull a dollar out of there pocket and give it to someone in need, verses the rich man who can only think about himself.

Greed is destroying this country, NOT average joes employed as wage slaves.

Pimp your Chinese made Edge blades elsewhere.

No we don't. The rich people do.

OK, if making our country strong meant poor people couldn't afford RC helis anymore, I'd accept that. It won't be long before we can't afford them anyway. But I'm not even talking about such luxuries. Christ man, everything within arm's reach of me is made in China.

Nice heli, they better be using edge blades on that too.

China has no labor unions. Ever heard of the $2000 hammer, made in usa sold to NASA?

That's how they fudge the books to finance Area 51.

Labor costs, labor costs it will always come down to that, oh yes and unions which each has their own opinion but get things back to reality in regards to those labor costs and things can and would change of course. Maybe we need to destroy credit cards, loans and all that and go back to trading furs and trade for an equal trade no debt sounds good lol.

The unions are pricing themselves out of a job.

I see this in the building trade especially.

A union plumber averages around $40 an hour around here....This is mostly rural regions.

Pull in the parking lot of a construction site and you'll see dozens of $60,000 trucks that serve no purpose but transportation to and from work.

I build schools for a living and the union laborer that does nothing but push a broom all day is likely making more money than the new schools principle will.

It used to be that you would NEVER see a union contractor build a school in Ohio because they cannot bid work competitively.

Now they've brought back prevailing wage on schools so the union guys can compete.....So Ohio will not be building many new schools from now on.

Labor is over 66% of a new buildings cost.
Triple the cost of labor and you just can't build the building.

We're a small company and our pay applications for the school we're currently building is just short of a million dollars a month.

A problem lay in where a union can monopolize the state. "strike" tactics use to be the norm. "Strike" might have been in reference to striking it rich in the old days but when a union prices them self out of the world wide market place it becomes a dinosaur. Lets go for a ride in that edge heli and take a look at Detroit for beginners.

It's only the tip of the iceberg on the woes of general democratic USA.

We have a bunch of abandoned factories here too...We even have an entire dead city to attribute to unions.

It's a fact that every factory here that organized, closed within a year.

The city of Portsmouth is dead.

Waverly is following closely.

The unions aren't needed any more.
There are actual laws that cover everything the unions were created for.

The sole purpose of unions now is to get more money for the worker.
More money can be good but you have to know what you're actually worth and STOP there....Otherwise,you'll not have a job soon.

Labor costs, labor costs
It's actually not that hard to find someone to do a decent days work for a reasonable cost here. Despite popular belief, there are plenty of people who will break their backs for barely what it costs to live here.

The much more real problem, I believe, is that I'll spend for a few hours of an accountant's time what my Chinese competitor will pay for a laborer for the year...INCLUDING ACOUNTING COSTS!

And the even bigger problem...no matter how thoroughly I could line my pockets, I would never do so knowing that a population of people are living at the factories away from their families for most of their lives. I would never cry about labor costs knowing this is the other choice.

And to get back on topic, when you buy that $1500 Trex700 kit, probably only $200 actually goes to feeding those that actually "made" it. Chew on that for a bit.

Ya I get all that Bob and don't disagree. However I think it's far to long gone to stop the machine in motion ya know. If there was a chance to stop or change how much was done "overseas" that stand should have been many, many moons ago I really think its far too late sadly.
