Hello,
Has anyone made or are aware of a source that lists which RPM sensors are compatible with the various FBL units that have a governor mode?

KNOWN GOOD COMBOS
Skookum SK 540 with Spektrum backplate sensor
Skookum SK 540 with Hyperion phase sensor
Skookum SK 540 with Hobbywing phase sensor

Thank you,
John

I am currently using a Hobby Wing digital sensor with SK540 and it really works great. Nice thing about it is that it’s good at 2s LiPo voltage.

Hello Ben-T-Spindle

I posted a question about using a (rpm) phase sensor with the SK 540 and a member stated I should use a Hyperion phase sensor and plug it into the 10-C port. I also have a HobbyWing digital sensor and they also stated to use it with a CC ESC (4.01 firmware) when using the external governor.
Please do comment on your setup and my statement

Thanks

Hyperion can do up to 25v so voltage is usually never a problem on the phase sensors, it's the signal pin coming back into the FBL that can be the problem.

The next CC firmware release that’s due to come out soon is tuned to use digital Phase sensors. That would be the new CC digital phase sensor or the Hobby Wing sensor.

Skookum is also working on a firmware update that will make optimum use of this combo.
