Hello heli gurus. I am currently awaiting the AR7200bx for my new T-rex 600efl pro build. Can I go ahead and use my spare AR7000 to get the throttle end points all setup in my radio and the 80HV all programed and ready to go? Thanks!

Thinking off the top of my head - I see no reason that wouldn't work.
Were actually calibrating the Tx signal to what the esc needs to see so changing Rx's shouldn't make a difference.
This would also by pass the way you have to do the calibration when using the 7200BX.
Once you bind the new 7200BX - put the throttle at full (or if in gov mode on a 100% throttle curve) & plug in. If the calibration is ok on the high then in about 6 sec. you will get a musical tone signifying the data logger has cleared - we know we are seeing full throttle. Then go to 0 throttle & if the esc arms then their ya go!

Thanks Steve. Those were my general thoughts as well. Setting up with the 7200bx is a challenge in it's own right with it's built in safeties. Thanks for the ideas for verifying the setup as well once the 7200bx is installed, great idea. Take care!

I am having trouble setting my high and low on my 7200 using a 9303. Following the instructions per the Castle web site I can not get it to go into programming mode even with the high end point buried at 150. It will initialize on the low end at about 124. I tried it with an extra AR7000 I have and it worked as expected with the high end being about 98(going into programming mode). It is as if the 7200 interprets throttle differently. Has any one else ran into this?

I used the Castle link to program mine. This is the only way I have programmed it and I'm not sure if it has a manual progamming mode like other speed contols do. I do know that it must be in fixed endpoints mode to be able to calibrate the throttle endpoints in the first place though. I know there are far more experienced folks than I in this area that can chime in.
