What do you guys feel is a good internal resistance for lipos reading taking while at nominal charged status and at full charge? Do the numbers change that much?

Depends heavily on several factors.

1. Size of pack, a 2500mah pack has twice compared to 5000mah
2. ambient temp, just a few degrees makes a huge difference.
3. Charger or tool used to measure.

IR is best used as a trend indicator for your own packs as charged/checked on your own charger.

+1 on what the guys said. I look at the IR every time I charge. Say a 6S battery is at 8 when it goes up dramatically and power seems to die then I stop using them.

As a baseline comparison -

My GensAce 2650's have measured IR between 0 and 5 on each cell. they are new this last spring.

My Blade 130X batteries, brand new, have an IR of 49-55 per cell. mCPx have twice that.

I've never seen the IR change on any of my packs regardless of charge, so it seems to be what it is from the get-go until it starts to age.

My Aligns (5200mah 40C 6S) generally sit around 3 mohms per cell, though I have one or two that are around 6 mohms per cell. They've been there ever since I bought them about a year ago and they haven't changed.

So generally I think that's where you want to see a 6S pack...
